I am rejecting this response because: The information in the business reply was never communicated and does not represent the way we were treated by Sandia Hearing when we attempted to resolve this issue ourselvesThey were completely unresponsive and said there was nothing they could do about itFurthermore, the way the latest letter came to us was using an address we had already put on the do not mail list so I doubt that it came from the parent companyLastly the sender of the message did not furnish an email address so we could get back to her for further assistanceIf we can get direct contact information for Donna O***, we will give her a chance to follow through on her offer to help us, but how the average person with this type of problem would even know to contact her is a mystery to me

Mr. [redacted] & Revdex.com,I am so sorry this has happened, it is not our desire to mail to anyone who has requested we no longer mail to them.  We also have no desire to upset consumers or have the expense.  I have checked our database and our archived files and I do not have your name,...

address, or telephone number in our records.  We employ an employee whose primary job is keeping our database up to date when requests come in to be removed, so if your name and information was what was in our database it was removed prior to 2007.  Unfortunately; this means your information could be on marketing lists we have purchase from several different marketing companies.  We are part of All American Hearing who has over 200 stores nationwide and on their website we have an "opt off mailing lists" section that we also enter requests for "do not mail" on and those names are sent to the marketing companies we purchase from, but Sandia Hearing or All American Hearing has no control of enforcing those companies to clean up their marketing lists.  There is an address you can write to or go on their web site to remove yourself or deceased family members from mail lists that is an official way of getting information removed, but they "do not" allow companies such as ours to send information to them on a consumers behalf.  They only accept it directly from the consumer.  The web site is [redacted] and the mailing address is [redacted].If the information you sent is different than your deceased family members information, you can email me that information and I will check our database and make sure that information is not on our database mailing lists that we do quarterly.Again, I am sorry this happens and have no desire to upset consumers in this way. Sincerely,Donna O[redacted]

We work
with a company that records our telephone calls and I listened to the call you
placed on September 9, 2015 at 11:05 am when you spoke with our PSC.  I
found her to be very understanding and professional and informed you that since
your parents had never been to our office they were not in our database.  I also confirmed that in my response to
you. 
She then informed
you that we are unable to contact the Direct Mail Service on your behalf and
offered the information to contact them again as I did in my response.  It is my understanding that even when you add
your information on the the ‘do not mail’ site it could be for only for 5 years
and then your information is released again. 
We both apologized on behalf of our company, and informed you that we
have NO CONTROL over outside marketing company’s mailing lists, we can only
take you off our company list and our corporate list which we have done.
Thirdly,
when I answered your response from the Revdex.com, it took me to a page where I
entered my contact name and email so I believed you would be able to see that
and know how to contact me.  I am only a
phone call away at the same phone number you called on the 9th and
my email is [redacted].
Again, I
understand your frustration and personally wish I could enter your information
for you as it is very costly for both of us in differing ways, but, until our
nation creates and enforces laws for mail, marketing companies will continue
using as many names as they can. 
I looked
on the internet today on the Federal Trade Commission site and found there are
several sites and have copied them below for you, but you have to include your
SS# and have to go onto the opt off for life area of the sites.
