Executive Window Tint

Review: I had Executive Window Tint ([redacted]-owner/installer) come to my home to have Window Tinting put on my vehicle. I asked for the SUNTEK Carbon product. He installed the "Suntek Carbon 30" I informed him that he had offers on both [redacted] and [redacted] which I wanted to use but he stated that was for the standard tint only. I informed him that it did not clearly state this in either the [redacted] or [redacted] coupon. I ended up paying for his services by check instead of purchasing one of the coupons as he said he would not honor it for the type of tint I was buying. He over sprayed my vehicle interior and exterior during the process and after he left I went to clean up the water spots inside my car. I noticed on the driver's side window there were two fine lines. I called [redacted] (owner/installer) and he said to wait at least 48 hrs to make sure it wasn't any air bubbles. I actually waited about ten days as I was out of town for the Christmas Holiday. I called him back and told him the lines were still there. He said he would come back and fix the problem (per his written warranty) on Monday January 5 at 10:30am. He "no showed" that day. I have been calling him every day since then and he has not answered nor returned my messages. I also contacted the SUNTEK distributor to complain about him being a dealer for their product and not honoring his warranty for his workmanship and the product. They informed me that they do not even make a "Carbon 30" tint but instead a "Carbon 35" So now I am also wondering if he installed a standard cheaper tint and I paid for the more expensive Carbon Window Tint. Also the window tint is now peeling off both the driver's and rear passenger side window with opening and closing them. I wish I had checked him out on [redacted] before scheduling an install as it appears this is a common pattern of his. Poor quality installation and not honoring his warranty for workmanship and the tinting product. As of this date I have still not yet heard back from him.Desired Settlement: I would like to request a refund as I am not happy with his workmanship, and not sure that I received the type of window tint that I had asked and paid for. Also, he has a reputation of not honoring his lifetime warranty. I feel that his poor business ethics and poor customer service are major issues. I do not want to deal with this company again. I would rather go to another window tinting company that truly installs the product that you pay for and honors their lifetime warranty.

Review: Ruben, the owner did terrible work. He tinted my car windows and they came out full of bubbles and scratches. He guaranteed his work, but when I called to have him re-do his work he failed to show up for the scheduled appointment then ignored my calls. He had this same business downtown and moved because of numerous complaints.Desired Settlement: $140 for the tint job in which I paid him

Review: [redacted] from Executive Window Tint tinted my vehicle windows on September 21, 2013 and I paid a total of $249.04. I had bubbles on the windows and called the company to get the problem fixed. [redacted] told me that the bubbles should go away within 30 days and if they did not, to call him. After 30 days went by and the bubbles were still on the windows, I called the company again and spoke to [redacted]. We made an appointment for him to come out to look at the problem and fix it. Our appointment was on November 2, 2013. He never showed up for the appointment and would not return my phone calls after leaving multiple messages. I am going to be forced to get the windows repaired by having the tint redone by another company. When I purchased the services, I received written guaranty of a warranty.Desired Settlement: That the problem be fixed permanently by sending me a refund so that I can get the windows redone by another reputable company.

Review: On Friday, June 20, 2014 I hired [redacted] to tint the windows of my car based on a recommendation from the Kearny Mesa Infiniti dealership. When he arrived he asked what shade of tint I would like and I replied, "not super dark." He showed me a sample of the shade he recommended and you were able to see the interior of my car through the shade. He did not show me any other samples. Within 5 minutes of arriving at my house he was cutting the tint. Before he applied it to the back window I asked, "is that how dark it is going to be." He said that it would lighten up a little bit. The end result is limo black. You can not see into the interior of my car at all. If this is not "super dark" I don't know what is. On Monday, June 23, 2014 my husband left a voicemail that was never returned by [redacted]. On Tuesday, June 24, 2014 I left a voicemail and [redacted] replied shortly. We agreed that he would come on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 5:30 PM to remove the window tint at no charge and reapply a lighter shade for $80. He never showed up for the appointment and has not returned any of my calls or texts since.Desired Settlement: I would like my original payment of $149 refunded so that I can apply it to the removal of tint and a lighter tint shade at a more reputable business.

Review: PrDesired Settlement: Promises 100% lifetime warranty on workmanship and material but fails to respond to claims. I'm the 3rd customer to experience same issue within one(1) month. I simply want my money back ($140) for installation of faulty work
