sold me product that they knew didn't workon 06/11/2015 they sold me a [redacted] dual cable fuctional trainer gym for 2,500.00 that they knew was defective.the person who sold it to me said he had checked it him self the.and it was working fine since he checked it he had to know the cables are frayed and cut to short the pin holes want line up to stick pins in .their is no more adjustments the that can be made on cable. they are already cut to short.the cables should have been replaced.I don't know if there are other issues as well Desired Settlementreplace cables to startBusiness Response We sincerely apologize the customer was displeased. But we also know for a fact that the machine was in perfect working condition when it left us. CABLES IN PERFECT CONDITION, no fraying. We explained to the customer that this was a 1250lb machine with many parts, and that it would not necessarily be easy to reassemble. The only reason there would be problems with cables or pins is if the unit is not put back together properly. Cables not run correctly, etc. We broke down the machine and numbered the pieces as requested, and all was intact when it left us. We understand that if you do not do this sort of thing everyday that it is not an easy task to reassemble properly, but this was all explained to the customer up front and we have not been contacted by him requesting any assistance. Our business is not at fault in this case.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)because I know how to fix stuff. this machine requires new cables to operate properly. I have no reason to lie about the cables.they simply have to be replaced.I worked on machines at work for 30 years I know when something's wore out [redacted] thank you
