Exhaust Pros Muffler Shop

I had a catalytic converter replaced at exhaust pros in May 2013. The car had 112,600 miles at the time. The new converter broke internally in December 2014 at about 121,000 miles. Exhaust pros put a 1 year warranty on the part and labor at the time of the change. Almost all business' that sell catalytic converters have at least a 3 or 5 year warranty on the part. Jim, the owner of exhaust pros, refused to fix it saying "its out of warranty" I told him that it should last longer than 2 years/less than 10,000 miles. He claimed I needed "paper work" to support the fact that the part went bad not because of the engine condition. The car has had a full tune up. New spark plugs and wires and distributer cap. He did nothing for me but waste my time and money
