I placed a carry out for four 6"pizzas for lunch. Once I arrived to pick up my order, the cashier showed each pizza and one was burnt without saying it the facial expression said it all. She didn't offer to remake, I request a remake. Upon waiting on my remake she offered a large beverage. From that stand point I was satisfied. My order was presented to me after being remade. It looked very cheesy and good. Once I made it back to work and began to eat my pizza. I noticed burnt cheese underneath fresh cheese. So once I make it back to the restaurant before I could approach the counter the cook tries to approach me and I asked to speak to the manager. Not knowing that the manager is the cashier. So I asked her after opening my box why do I have burnt under new cheese. The cook responded he pulled the burnt cheese off and placed new cheese on top. So I responded if I requested a remake why would you pull the cheese and add more cheese instead of just the whole pizza. The manager didn't respond she just walked toward the register and proceeded to give me a refund for it. Without explanation the manager just handed me a refund. I then asked for corporate contact info she huff hard and wrote it down. After leaving and calling corporate, my call is rooted to their [redacted] location and gave me the run around so I was unable to speak to anyone due to them leaving for office 2 hours early.Desired SettlementI spend too much money with this company and this particular location I'm highly disappointed and disgusted. I think that the cook should have never approached me and especially tell me how he picked the burnt cheese off my pizza. I think that after that happening that the cook should have been terminated no question asked. The manager should have better communication skills. Business Response Both parties involved (the shift manager and the cook) were written up with a warning of future suspension for any other inappropriate handling of customer complaints. Those notices will be presented to the employees this week and a signed copy will be faxed over to the Revdex.com office as soon as possible. At that time I will also send the person that complained a certificate for a large pizza of their choice at any of our locationsConsumer Response I've made a previous complaint on Exlines and they didn't honour their promises
