Service man came out after hours on 05/24/to check Clean-CheckService man charged an $service call plus *** for after hours chargeFound retaining bolt and locking ring was missing and had previously been removed by homeownerService
man attempted to perform a spot repair of issue, but clean check could not be fully removed since line was holding feet of waterIf clean check had been removed at the time, basement flooding would have been significantly worseOwner never said service man should have pulled clean-check, especially with it holding waterOwner did come out, and found debris at bottom of clean check that built up because homeowner lost set screw and locking ringHad set screw and locking ring not been lost clean check would have functioned normallyNo steps could have been taken by service man at the time of serviceWe have attached the original invoice showing that *** *** was satisfied with the work performed at the time and signed off on the invoice

When I called the owner the next day and I asked why his guy didn't pull it up and check it? Why would the serviceman tell us it was fixed and told us we could go ahead and go to bed if he didn't think he fixed itWe had everything contained in the basement bathroomNo damages except some carpet in front of bathroomWouldn't you think serviceman would of told us he didn't completely fix it and we better stay up and make sure our basement doesn't get flooded? We have done business with this company since but they have a new owner now and he doesn't care about his customersWe had Shoda put this clean check in for over *** So the serviceman should have known what to do to keep our basement from flooding since they installed it
