I have been doing business with Exotic Motors for many years now, bought several cars and never had a issuesTheres a reason a wide number of dealerships go out of business but exotic has stayed honest and prosperedThanks Exotic Motors!

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2014/02/17) */
***
To Whom It May Concern,
I spoke to the customer on February 15th, and we have agreed to reimburse the customer as a full
and final reimbursement of $in good faith for the mechanical repairs

Final Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2014/02/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
After speaking with the management at exotic sports we came to an agreement that it was fair for them to provide me with compensation for the cost of the partThey were very open to the negotiation and responsive to my calls and emails

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
US$3,are not acceptable to meIt is not even half of the repairs ($7,727.33) that should have been covered by the extended warrantyWe are obviously in disagreement over Exotic Motor's liability for this amount
However, the contract I have clearly states Exotic Motors as the seller and it clearly states that there is no waiting periodThe extended warranty company first declined payment because they had not received any payments for months for previous contracts issued by Exotic MotorsAfter more than a month, they declined to even look at (send an inspector out to the dealership) the defective parts claiming these were pre-existing defectsThe contract states nothing regarding pre-existing defects being excludedExotic Motors stated that claims are sometimes denied when they happen within days of the start date of the contractAgain - my contract doesn't define/request any waiting period, nor was I told to "hold off" for days. This clearly makes Exotic Motors liable for covering defects occurring within the first days. I'm certain any judge will confirm this and make Exotic Motors pay the entire amount plus any costs incurred to collect the amount. Over $4,in difference between the amount Exotic Motors owes me and the amount they are willing to pay is still big enough for me to pursue the court routeIf Exotic Motors is willing to pay $6,and put a phrase in the release that the extended warranty is still in place for future events (even if it releases Exotic Motors from being liable for any future claims), we have a deal.Sincerely,
Christof ***

Where to begin... Let's start off with the fact that I am located in Seattle, WA and I baught a 2013 [redacted] from Exotic Motors about 3 months ago. Now, before anyone tries to claim that this is a "fake" review I can provide any form of proof including my purchase agreement from Exotic Motors. So do not believe them when they say the competition is trying to make them look bad. Exotic motors does enought to make themselves look bad.
I was helped by 3 individuals... Ali, Shawn, and their so called manager, Rick. I was told many false statements regardling the car I was buying. Things like, "The car is as good as new", "The car has no scratches and no flaws", "We have ensured to replace anything that needs to be replaced"... That and many more "sales statements" that all turned out to be a... you guessed it, LIE!!!
Flaws (please read):
I payed $1000 for just the delivery of the car and not only did the delivery of the vehicle take an EXTRA week and a half to be delivered but it also came filthy, inside and out. Mud stains and dirt all over the interior, and the exterior looked like someone went drifting in mud. There were scratches on the exterior of the car and interior. The tires were as BALD as [redacted] and needed immediate replacement which cost me an extra $2,000 out of pocket. After a month of driving the car, A MAJOR ALERT of a faulty air bag came on the [redacted] dash EVERYTIME I started the car (quite embarressing). The gas cap wire was also cut and needed to be replaced. The exterior lining of the windshield and moon roof was peeling and looks horrible. The backseat belt covers were missing (not sure what they are called. Also, the drivers all weather floor matt was missing. They also LIED about the features of the car, stating that there was bluetooth audio playback for music and THERE WAS NOT. Oh and to top it off, GUESS WHAT?? the whole car had an ILLEGAL tint that I have already got a ticket for here in Washington. NONE OF THIS INFORMATION WAS GIVEN TO ME IN ADVANCE even though I asked about EVERY POSSIBLE significant detail of the car.
Communication:
Now let's talk about their communication, I tried to reach out MULTIPLE times with Ali, Shawn, and Rick. Each tried to pass me to the other like I was a hot potato. Ali ended up leaving the company and I was promised that, Rick, the manager would reach out to me to make things right... WELL GUESS WHAT... NO ONE EVER REACHED OUT and I was once again fed lies.
I can go on and on about the horrible experience but I am making sure to leave this review in AS MANY places as possible. DO NOT go to this dealership. DO NOT buy from hem. You will be lied to. TELL YOUR FRIENDS FAMILY AND ANYONE ELSE TO STAY AWAY FROM EXOTIC MOTORS!

WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! The only exotic thing about them is thier name. Their cars are far from being exotic, the one I bought wasn't even in normal condition. I recently bought a 2009 [redacted] hard top convertible from them and a week later the break light came on. So I took the car in for a check up and it turn out the back break sensor snap, both back rims crack, both front rotor n break need replacing, one of the axle seal need replacing, one of the hard top convertible piece was broken, took it for a car wash and water splash in from top driver door, and on top of that Fred the sales guy told me the tires have a year of life left. Turn out all 4 tires was dangerous to drive on and one of it had wire showing so it could have pop at any time. The car would have cost me over $5,000 to fix for new parts. Had to do a quick fix which still cost me over $2,000.

YEAH I AM [redacted] BUYING A $28,000 CAR AND HAVE TO SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY TO FIX IT A WEEK LATER!!!!!!!
It's like they don't check their vehicle at all before selling. I even found the previous owner keys in the trunk.
When I call them and complain about the problem the car having, the sale guy say the manager will call me andf work something out. Two weeks goes by and NO CALL from them whatsoever. Until now still no call.

Dear Daniel,

I left you a voicemail this afternoon. I looked further into this cancellation and we just received the cancellation reimbursement check & we have a check ready for you to pick up at our dealership. Please let me know if you will pick it...

up your self or you want us to mail it to you. As it was told to you when you had spoken to Richard that as soon as we receive check back from the warranty company, we will process your check. Also there is a slight change in the amount of reimbursement. You will be reimbursed $884.50 & there is no tax on the warranty. Customer refund amount is $884.50.

Thanks,
Rick [redacted]

To Whom It May Concern,

We of course always strive to satisfy our customers but feel there is little we can do for this...

gentleman.

This car was purchased over three years ago and we believe has been heavily driven.

Also this car, as the customer points out was sold as a Salvage vehicle both the contract and contract documents reveal that fact and are attached to this response.

As you can see the buyers guide, "window sticker" revealed the condition of the car, that a salvage title covered the car and most importantly the car was sold as is. The buyer was given ample opportunity to inspect the car and did inspect it.

We believe after three years this complaint is improper.

Without admitting any liability to this person we will give him $300.00 in good faith towards the repair of his radio.

Very Truly Yours,
[redacted]

To Whom It May Concern:
This vehicle was sold AS-IS. Mr. [redacted] (Buyer) never gave us an opportunity to have the vehicle looked...

at after claiming about some issue with the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] brought his own mechanic to have the vehicle inspected the day of sale and there were no issues found at the time of sale. We asked Mr.. [redacted] to bring the vehicle back to us so we can have it inspected by our mechanic and he never brought the car back to our dealership.
