Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
Moyers is trying to cover up a mistake and walk away without any repercussions for their actionsPennDOT has the procedure set in place in a specific order and is taught that way when attending the Inspection Certification classI fully believe that if they had actually looked at my car before it was road tested they could have possibly found the issueWithout looking over a vehicle before you do not know if it is even safe to drive on a road test
Also if this is a internal failure of my transmission then why hasn't Moyers explained, if they did not hit something, why are the transmission housing pieces are inside and not expelled, which is the result of an internal failure
Moyers claimed an internal failure sent internal pieces through the transmission housing outwardBut all the housing pieces are laying inside the transmissionwhich indicates an outward force intruding on my transmission housing pushing pieces inwardIn result as I stated earlier, housing pieces were found inside once the transmission was removed
Furthermore, Moyers had control of my vehicle overnight and according to them, they are not liable for any damage while in their control, a practice unheard of by other repair and inspection facilitiesMoyers has not contacted me as to settling or even offering any type of settlementIt is apparent that they feel they are above reproach for their actions

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I returned the adapter with a receiptThere is a sign behind their counter that indicates "no returns without receipt"I had the receiptThere is no mention of original packagingIt is impossible to repackage the adapter with the original packaging, as the packaging needs to be effectively destroyed to open. I was quoted $to repair the leak in the AC system, when in fact, there was no leak in the AC systemThis was verified independentlyThese people are either incompetent or were trying to deceive me

June 15, 2017Dear *** ***After reviewing the complaint #*** and reviewing it with my Service Manager, this is the what I am responding with.On April 25th 2017, a *** *** (mileage 179,208), was dropped off at Moyer's Car Care Center for a state inspectionThe Inspection was
assigned to a certified Pa inspection mechanicThe mechanic proceeded to road test the vehicle, (as required by Pa inspection code), south on route 183, the vehicle became disabledThe mechanic pulled off the road and noticed vehicle had lost an excessive amount of transmission fluidThe mechanic called and informed the Service Manager and a tow vehicle was dispatched immediately and toed back to Moyers Car Care Center to diagnose what had happened. The mechanic stated to the Service Manager that there was a clicking/popping noise before it became disabled.Vehicle was raised on a lift and transmission fluid was leaking fora a hole in the front differential coverThe differential cover was pierced from the inside to outside as proven by the metal spalling.*** has had many differential (power transfer unit, per ***) problems as far as to replace the power transfer unit if noises are heard coming from itThese problems are noted directly from *** dating back to a service bulletin number ***, as listed in ***I have sent a copy of the bulletin. Vehicle was not brought to Moyers Car Care Center to diagnose this issueNor was informed of any noises.Sincerely,Paul M*** Jr

October 17, 2016After reviewing the complaint, I have included a copy of the bill for his vehicle in questionThe invoice #*** does not mention a faulty compressor coil or that it was leakingIt does state “suspect leaking evaporator” and that “CUSTOMER DECLINED ANY A/C REPAIRS AT THIS TIME”.As
far as the AC invertor, we do require the packaging because it does have to be in a resalable condition with the manufacture papers.Paul MJr VP/Operations Manager
