Yes, the text confirm our repair [redacted] was sick that day and unable to complete the repairs, the following cancellation text is due to rain, we do not allow any of our employees to work on a roof in the rain as I’m sure you could understandSafety for all our employees is our top priorityAgain we would have happily completed all the work on your roof when the weather was adequate enough to do so and if you look at the first paragraph of the contract that you read and signed, it states clearly that all sales are final and no refunds will be givenWe have already issued you a partial refund although the contract you read and signed stated we did not have to do so.Thank you for your understanding in this matter

We initially scheduled the work to be done at *** ***’s home on December 16th, One of our repair *** became sick and our *** *** *** *** called to reschedule the work but the customer did not want them to come out and do it any longer because she was upsetThe
customer signed an invoice stating all the work that was to be completed along with a service agreement stating that if the contract was cancelled she would only be given a 30% refund of the initial paymentThe work would have been completed had the customer allowed us to come back to her home and do the work within days of the initial start date

I am rejecting this response because:You billed me for the full amount ($1398) without permission when, according to your contract, you only require 50% for the initial deposit ($699). Why did not you follow your contract that states "50% deposit required" prior to starting a job and the "remaining 50% due upon completion" - (see REPAIR SECTION)? After cancelling three times, you left me no choice but to find another company to do the work. It's amazing how you justify not refunding the depositYou did not do ANY work! At minimum, please give me back 50% of my initial deposit ($699) since you charged me for the full job ($1398) without permission plus and your 30% refund ($209.70) on the amount that should have been the amount of the initial deposit ($699). This would give you $for work your company never performed. Please refund the correct amount according to your contract which would be $908.70. This is more than fair to your company for work you did not even do

Safety for all our employees is our top priority. I am rejecting this response because:The information in your response is not accurate. Your company cancelled three times to come out and do the work. (see attached images showing cancellations)  After the third cancellation, I had no choice but to get another company to do the job. There were squirrels in my attic!  [redacted] came out on December 12th with the estimate and took the deposit for the full amount. I waiting a week for you guys to show up!  I could not wait any longer.  As far as your contract, a 50% deposit ($699) was required yet you billed me for the full amount for the deposit ($1398) without notification or authorization. At minimum, your 30% refund should be based on 50% of the estimate and return the remaining amount of my deposit.  How you justify keeping $978 of a deposit for a job not started is beyond me.  I would like my money back.
