This is what is advertised for 'owner for a day' • Fee: $124.70 (per couple) + HST (15%) (No lunch included) Start time: 1:00 pm Meet Race Hostess upstairs at Top of the Park reception desk Tour of Red Shores main building & history with Race Hostess Tour of Barns Meet Horse & Trainer Escort back to Grandstand or Turf Club (ground level of Main Building) NOTE: If you’re not having the buffet lunch, no table will be reserved in the Top of the Park Showed how to read a program & place a wager Winner’s Circle for your picture after Horse’s Race We did not get a tour of the red shores main building or hear of its history. We did not get a tour of barns. We did get a tour of one barn. Adam pointed to one barn and said it was old and used by guys with few horses, we did not enter it. He also made mention of a 3rd barn but we did not even get to see its exterior. We met horse and trainer. We were not shown how to read a program guide or place a wager. As we were about to leave we were given a $10 voucher to use specifically on a Pick 5. That process was explained. We were not provided information regarding the horses or the site. Contacted the manager at Experience to let him know that we did not receive half the experience advertised - sent him exactly what is written above. He stated that based on his conversations with the employees at Redshores racing that he was satisfied we received a satisfactory experience. This is despite the fact that those employees did not address the items we did not receive. He also stated 'At your request, it was already discounted from our regular experience price since you did not want to include lunch so while I am sorry you feel we did not live up to your expectations, we are not prepared to offer you a further price reduction' This is not a 'discount' this was a choice not to include lunch.
