Review: I contacted this company to remove a raccoon from my garage. The technician came and verbally guaranteed it will be done. They insisted on cash or check and full payment up front. $450 to set the trap and have the raccoon gone in about 2 days. I contacted the dispatch after a few days because the raccoon trap was not working, they said their technician will contact me and he did, and said he would think of another way and call me back. Nearly 2 weeks went by without any contact from him so I called the dispatch and asked for a refund and I was treated rudely and aggressively and very dismissive. I was told they do not do refunds and it was the customers responsibility to contact the dispatch and ask for updates and NOT their burden. I was also told they will never guarantee anything and they do not refund. Their sales receipt or web site does not have any of these policies anywhere. Very shady, I told them I would write a review about my experience and I was told it would be slander in a threatening manner. This company is not ethical and practices what I would call shady business practices.Desired Settlement: Refund and an investigation into their business practices.

Review: I called this company to rodent proof my apartment. I specifically requested for it to be sealed off from further entry. When I called, they told me it would be $45 for a technician to come and give me an estimate. The technician came and immediately began working on resolving the issue. Fees and services were not discussed nor clarified. I paid $250 and after 10 days the problem in my apartment has persisted and even grown worse. I called to find out about follow up or guarantee behind their services and they told me I would have to pay an additional $75 for another technician visit. I think this is uncalled for as the original services did nothing to alleviate the problem.Desired Settlement: I would like either my money back for the original, unsatisfactory service OR follow up visits with no additional charges.

In response to this complaint, our response is all follows. Due to the nature of the pest control business and different variables that we cannot always control, we only offer a warranty on service if it is paid for. All jobs are one time treatments, unless otherwise stated on the receipt. If a warranty is purchased then the receipt will reflect this with either a "30 day warranty" or "60 day warranty on service" or something of this nature. No follow up treatments were included in [redacted]'s payment of $250. At no point was she promised a follow up either. It is unfortunate to me that she is unsatisfied with the service but a one-time treatment is a one-time treatment. I cannot grant her requests for "follow up visits with no additional charges". In [redacted], some pest problems are more severe than others. Some jobs require one treatment to eliminate the problem and others need one or even several more follow ups. I hope you understand. Review: I called a local company called Sunnyside Exterminators in [redacted]. They sent out a technician, and he gave the receipt with "Expert Extermininating Inc" stationary on it.

I had birds going into our duct from the outside, the technician closed the flap on the opening, and charged me $236. He wrote on the receipt that there is a warranty for a month. The next day, the birds opened it again and went into the duct. After repeated phone calls, the [redacted] named [redacted] finally spoke to me that since the duct is located higher than a normal ladder will be able to reach, they will have to charge another $700 to get a "lift". I asked for a refund since he didn't fix the problem, but she said they will not give a refund.

If a technician gave a warranty for a month, he should come back with a taller ladder and fix the problem.Desired Settlement: I will be calling someone else to fix the issue. The birds keep waking us up. We don't have time to wait for this to be resolved.
