We just received a complaint made by [redacted] On September 15th one of out technicians went to Mrs [redacted] 's home and diagnosed her led television as needing a new power supplyAt the time the technician searched the web for the partThe technician collected $for the part, $for 2nd day shipping and for the trip/ diagnosisWe will be refunding $for the part and the $for the shipping chargeThe trip and diagnostic fee is not refundable because we made the trip/ house call and diagnosed the problemWe will be sending a refund in the amount of $withing the next daysThank you

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The proprietor of this business, Mr [redacted] , sent me this email dated 2/10/16:Mr [redacted] I informed you that once I received the refund from our parts distributor that I will refund your $andrews Incinformed me on 2/10/that they processed a refund to my credit card accountI just now checked my account online and the funds aren't there yetPlease stop harassing my office staff with calls more than once in a single dayI bent over backwards trying to find a lower price for you because you were unwilling to pay LGs price for a new LG replacement main board to complete your repairI will refund your $ as soon as I see it in my account.Thank you, [redacted] Please note that there is no mention about special order parts and that there is an undeniable admission that a refund was promised and would be forthcoming I have learned from other sources (Yelp.) that the proprietor has misled customers in the recent past and this is clear evidence that he is doing it again I will add that my many calls to his office were because of his refusal to return my messages Also, he never provided evidence of "bending over backwards" to find a lower price - I would have been satisfied with a return call or an update over the months I dealt with him Finally, we did not purchase the part from LG directly because he advised me that a refurbished part was a more inexpensive, yet just as reliable alternative I trusted his expert opinion and counsel and now he is trying to place the blame on me for trusting him.Regards, [redacted]

I have rejected this
response due to the fact that the television was misdiagnosedI do not believe
I should pay $for *** to come and MISDIAGNOSE my television I
have attached a copy of the invoices from ***, *** *** *** San Diego,
California, an authorized Samsung repair center, which clearly shows that the
"power tested o.k." The technician and the company who
ultimately fixed our television are willing to testify to this fact
(714-582-5182)The power supply board was NOT replaced, which *** diagnosed as the problemIt was the main board
and panel that were broken, which Samsung paid forWe did pay $for
labor to *** and were happy to do so once the television was repaired
properly I feel that *** dupes people by saying that it's the power
supply board because it's generally the cheapest part(There is another review
on ***, which had the same problem I've had with this company) Thus, I do not
feel that Chula Vista Tv and Center is entitled to any of our money
whatsoever, due to the MISDIAGNOSE and the two weeks wasted while he gave us the run-aroundI would appreciate a full refund in the amount of $156.93, which I
believe we are entitled to

I want to reiterate that I will not drive 30 minutes to the business because I received a bad check last time I did it.
