Customer purchased a F-from us and brought it back a week or so later with a few complaintsOne of which was a broken side view mirror which he said we broke but we have records of it being broken when the vehicle was taken in on tradeSince a piece is broken the mirror is not covered under his warrantyCustomer complained of front end noise so we replaced two front springs, two front tires, and did an alignmentHe also complained the A/C wasn't working so we recharged the system and it was workingCustomer brought it back complaining it was not working properly so we cleared the system, the Freon was keeping, so we put dye in to see if we could find a leak but A/C system was working so said if it does happen again just bring it backAfter fixing this customer complained about a noise in the rear, we had a technician go on a minute drive with the customer and we could not duplicate the noiseThe customer then left without saying anything else or coming back inside

The reason we had the vehicle towed to Mahwah was because it was the closest dealer when the car broke down so we had no choice, don't worry we will never go back there no matter whatMahwah Ford said they wouldn't cover another Ford dealers work but when I called corporate they said this is not trueThe dealership never said they did not want to take my money and happily did just the oppositeAbout 95% off the bill was for labor not the parts so they could have easily accommodated the second repair on the recallAll of it should have been covered for FREEThey also charged me the max they could for everythingThey said they were sending a credit amounting to $but it's been almost days and nothing has come yet. Seth was the rep that handled the issue and was nothing but rudeHe laughed in the phone when I said the recall should be coveredHe also never called me when he failed to meet three different competition dates, I had to call EVERY timeIt's no wonder he is in this mediocre position.Ford still should cover this 100%, this will not be the last you hear from me

Good morning I received an updated complaint, ID # *** and the customer did come back on Monday for a complaint of a water leak We found something clogged, unclogged it and gave the customer his truck back at no charge He did not bring up anything else besides the water leak at that time Please let me know if you need any info

Client had recall done at another dealer (franchise) months prior but for some reason had the vehicle towed to MahwahService department advised client to go back to the dealer (franchise) who performed the recall since workmanship is not covered especially if that dealer did something wrongWe
explained we did not want to take his money because the recall no longer existed on his car and all warranties were expiredAfter many calls to Ford Motor Company (to no avail) he decided to have Mahwah do the repairs since Ford would not warranty anythingAfter the car was picked up and repaired Ford Motor Company decided to give the client a goodwill refund for $Mahwah Ford bears no responsibility for repairs not performed here and we did not sell the car either we only fixed the carWe would have loved Ford to pay for the entire repair but they wouldn'tAlso the owner of the vehicle is *** *** thank You

I am rejecting this response because: THE A/C DOESN'T DISAPATE THERES A LEAK AND THERE IS A NOISE IN THE BACK WHEN GOING OVER BIG BUMPS I NEVER COMPLAINED ABOUT NOISE IN FRONT OF TRUCK JUST IN BACK AND SPRINGS WERE CRACKED IN FRONT SO THEY ARE PROBABLY CRACKED IN BACK TOO AND THE MIRROR I WOULD HAVE NOTICED WHILE DRIVING THEY CAN HAVE ANYTHING PUT IN WRITING HAVE THEM SWEAR TO IT OR LOSE THERE JOBS THESE THINGS NEED TO BE FIXED ESPA/C AND NOISE IN BACK THE MIRROR THEY'RE GOING TO SCREW ME OUT OF BUT THE OTHERS THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX WHEN I DROVE TRUCK THEY PROMISED ME BUT I SEE THERE PROMISES MEAN NOTHING AND NOBODY IS GOING TO HELP ME
I TOLD THEM NOISE WAS COMMING FROM THE BACK OF THE TRUCK NOT THE FRONT BUT THE FRONT SPRINGS WERE BROKEN SO I'M FIGURING THE BACK ONES ARE TOO THEY TOLD ME BRING IT BACK WHEN A/C STARTS BLOWING WARM AIR AGAIN FREON DOESN'T DISSAPATE THERE IS A LEAK IN SYSTEM AND THEY WON'T FIX IT AND THE TIRES THEY CHANGES HAD SLICES IN SIDE WALL OF TIRES YOU CAN'T DRIVE LIKE THAT ITY WILL BLOW OUT THEY BROKE THE INSIDE PANEL NOW LOOKING AT MIRROR AND THEY TOLD ME THEY NEVER LOOKED AT MIRROR THEY'RE LYING I WANT THE A/C FIXED THE RITE WAY NOT JUST REFILLED THEN WHEN IT GETS WARM THEY TELL ME WHERE TO GO AND I SAID THAT I WILL PAY FOR MIRROR IF THEY DO INSTALLATION FREE THEY WON;T WORK WITH ME AT ALL JUST KEEP PASSING THE BUCK TO ANOTHER PERSON IN SERVICE IT MAKES NOISE IN BACK IT DIDN'T DO IT WHEN MECHANIC WHEN WITH ME BUT IT STILL DOES MAKE THAT NOISE ITS EITHER A SPRING OR THE SHOCKS ARE BROKEN THEY LIE W/ A BIG SMILE ON THERE FACES AND LAUGH WHEN I WANT THINGS FIXED I WANT THESE THINGS FIXED
