We here at Expertise Restoration LLC have contacted the complaining customer in regards to this complaint. We have reviewed the complaint. We have spoken to the customer and have settled the complaint between us. Although we are not sure that what the customer is saying in regards to our technician breaking the chimney is entirely true. I can assure you that we do not conduct business that way and in an attempt of good faith to satisfy the customer we will be sending a check for the out of pocket repair expenses they have incurred. I am rejecting this response because: I was promised $700 compensation for what I had to pay to repair the chimney damaged by Expertise Restoration last Friday.  But I never receive the check.  Therefore, the issue is not resolved.

Review: We contracted with Expertise Restoration to complete gutter repair and re-do concrete steps at the entrance of the house for a total contract value of $ 2100.00. The contract was dated April 24, 2015. We gave an initial deposit of $ 1100.00 with a personal check which was cashed.

Despite repeated requests, the work has not been completed as of today. We asked for our money back on Friday May 29th. The company has not refunded our money. They also asked for an additional $ 1000.00 to complete the work which we refused.

We don't trust this company to carry out a quality job as they gave us several excuses for delaying the completion. They also told us that we are stuck with them as no one else can complete this work without their permission. This is strange because I am the owner of the property and I can contract with any company I like.
