Review: In December 2011 [redacted] of Expo Window and Door had persuaded me to go with his company to purchase and install [redacted] for my house that was being constructed from August 2011 through to July 2013. He told me at the time that his company, Expo Window and Door, is the largest distributor of [redacted] in NYC and that he would take care of any issue,including warranty, should any issue arise. When the windows were installed and the balance was paid he told me that he would send his crew to finish caulking the windows. He came with his crew and completed most windows but there are still six windows left he never finished caulking. It has been 19 months and I'm still trying to get him to come and finish the job that has been fully paid for.There was also another issue with one of the windows. A couple of months after all windows were installed the internal decorative grills on some of the windows started to come off the glass. I immediately contacted him and his brother, and business partner, [redacted] came to take a look at what was happening. Upon examining the windows he told me that he would order double sided adhesive tape and re-glue the grills that were coming off. A few weeks later, after the adhesive tape was supposedly received he came to work on those grills. When the repairs were done I immediately noticed that he had used small nails instead of the adhesive tape that he told me he would use. He told me that it was a better way to secure the grills and I took his word for it. About a month later I noticed a crack on one of the window that starts at the exact point where the nail goes through the grill into the window sash and was about 6 inches long. I immediately called [redacted] and told him about the crack. He insisted that it could not have been caused by the nails he had put through ignoring the fact that the crack starts exactly where the nail goes through. Since then the crack has spread right across the window and is now about 25 inches long.Desired Settlement: I would like Expo Window and Door to come and complete caulking the six windows that are not yet completed and replace the window they caused to crack by using a technique not employed, nor approved, by the manufacturer they represent in my area. I contacted [redacted] directly after Expo Window and Door refused to claim responsibility for the damaged they caused while trying to address a different issue. It would cost me at least $350 to replace the window with cracked glass.

The business contacted me in October 2013 but the issue is not resolved because the business is refusing to repair the damage caused by them.
