I am rejecting this response because: Time is NOT an issue regarding when the damage was made, and when the business was notified of the damage I noticed the damage to my lawn when getting home from work on a Thursday or Friday I was NOT able to talk with my neighbor about the damage until Friday or Saturday My neighbor informed me that he saw it happen, but had not told the driver, and would reach out to his insurance company about the problem Since this was a weekend, parties were NOT available to contact To my knowledge, a message was left with the company on Monday or Tuesday of the following business week, and his call was not returned until the following Wednesday--this is what the company is calling a "delay" in being notified of the damage that THEY caused Regardless of when they were notified, they are still responsible for damage caused by their driver and truck Where the damage happened would not have been caused by ANY other vehicles (trash, etc) as claimed by the business owner It would only happen with a vehicle backing out of my neighbor's drivewayI have fixed the problem myself by purchasing a bag of black dirt, and grass seeds Luckily, with the warm October and November we had, the grass has grown in I would like to be reimbursed for this purchase (approximately $20), and then we can be done with this situation This is something that the business could have easily done themselves, but they refused to do so, and have taken NO ownership for the damage that was caused As far as the city getting involved, a police report WAS filled out, and a complaint filed with the city regarding this company The city did say that they are responsible for damage to my yard caused by their trucks/equipment Since this was not caused by a city owned or contracted vehicle, the city was not responsible to help me, and they told me that I would have to go after the business I am willing to take a day off of work to go to small claims court if necessary Is the business? Paperwork has NOT been filed yet to proceed to small claims court, so I am hoping that the Revdex.com can help resolve thisthank you! [redacted] *Rosemount, MN

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Below is the actual conversation that I had with Maria Din regards of hiring someone to pick up my vehicleNOTE: Did not call her to find me a driver, I wanted to know if Express Auto could pick up a vehicle for meThats all.As for as making a claim, on the date of the delivery which was July 27, 2015, I called Maria Don her fax number which was kind of weird, but I spoke to her about the people she brokered my work to which is V&V transport with out my consent or knowledge, in regards of them not being able to get my vehicle of their trailer, And Marie Dsaid " Well Mr.*** you told me the that the vehicle runs and drive and I have an email stating that, so they are going to take the car to a holding yard where you can pick it up and you will be charged a holding fee", and I replied to her with " you do not have a message from me stating that, I said that it starts but does not run or drive, and I then said if you are able to get the car off the trailer at a holding yard, how cant you get my car off your trailer at my house?"Once that conversation happen, maria Dhung up on me unprofessionally. That was known before you took the job and I asked you if you could do the job, and you Maria Dsaid yes.So how and why would I pay someone for delivering my vehicle if it is still on your trailer? You don't take payment until then! The First Message is at bottom, please start their and read.Could you tell me around what time I should be looking for the driver?Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android From:"Express Auto" ***Date:Mon, Jul 27, at 8:AMSubject:Re: RE: Inquiry Yes, I have a s river on the way to p ick it up.I also need some kind of ph# for driver to call you before delivery. As I explained previously customer wouldn't pay for the delivery of the vehicle when it was delivered to his homeThere were minor issues with the car not running but it would have been unloaded if customer paid the driverAs mr*** refused to pay $for delivery, driver wouldn't unload his car until payment is collected in full, once the car is in customers possession it's impossible to collect the paymentThat is the protocol for every transport company in AmericaDrivers only deliver vehicles without collecting payment before unloading cars if they have billing contracts with dealers or auctions, private individuals must pay in cash or certified funds (money orders or bank certified checks) before vehicle is on the ground. Drivers never want to take cars to holding yards or hold them on the truck, unless the situation is out of control, which is what happened here.Unfortunately *** *** was hoping to outsmart us and he was hoping to have this car unloaded without paying the driver, which resulted in his car being brought back to the IAA for storageAnd mr*** abandoned this vehicle for almost months, numerous attempts where made to contact him and he was given months to redeem this car, which he didn't do.As for brokering the job, it's not true, I am a dispatcher for several different drivers and V&V is one of the truck that I serve as dispatcher. Here is the only solution: go to IAA, pay the fees associated with transporting and storing and redeem your car, there is nothing else I can help you withThis *** will be sold as abandoned in the next few days, auction will not hold it in to next year

I am a dispatcher for Express Auto Transport and received an email from *** *** asking if I can find a driver to deliver *** from *** *** *** in Rosedale MD to his residence in Syracuse NY for $375, after which I made several calls and one driver agreed to pick it up on
Monday, July 27th and deliver no later than Tuesday July 28th.Driver did pick up this vehicle on the scheduled date and arrived a day earlier in Syracuse, also asked customer if he can deliver the same day and customer agreed to accept t he car. After driver arrived to *** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** met the driver and asked to unload the vehicle, driver would not do so until he collects the payment, which wasn't provided upon deliveryThere was a lot of arguments and Mr*** also assaulted driver (punched him in the face) driver called police and a report was filed and after which driver left with the vehicle on his truck, since he didn't get paid $for deliveryPolice asked driver if he wanted to press charges, which he declined to do because he lives out of state and he would loose time and $$ to do so. This vehicle was taken to *** *** *** in Cicero NY and management was instructed not to release the vehicle until driver gets paid for delivery. *** *** was then notified that he needs to pay $375+$extra fee for delivering this vehicle to storage +$fee for storage, which he refused to do.This vehicle has been in *** *** *** facility in Cicero NY since July 28, It hasn't left Syracuse and *** *** was contacted by me several times via email and phone in July and AugustBelow is one of the emails I sent myself on August 25Express Auto To*** ***Aug at 9:41 PMDriver called me last week and said that you never contacted him nor did you pay him or pick up your car.He said that he tried to call you but no response. I am on vacation and just heard the messege, not sure if it was settled after I received the call.I never thought that someone would abandon a car.HAVE A BLESSED DAY!-Maria D.I also contacte Julie from *** *** ***, who is the the dealer that sold this vehicle to *** *** and she said that she has tried to contact Mr*** and received no response*** *** *** contacted her as well and she approved for this vehicle to be sold a abandonedI spoke with Julie on October 7th and also today, she still didn't receive a response from Mr***At this point Mr*** still has a chance to redeem this car, if the pays $delivery fees and he can negotiate the storage fees with the auctionIf it isn't done so by October 30th, his car will be sold by *** *** *** as abandoned vehicle and Mr*** will not be entitled to any compensation. This complaint is completely and we have been in business since and never had any issues with any of our customersWe have been doing business for many individuals as well as most of the local dealerships and auctions including IAAI, Copart, Adesa AA, Burdick Audi dealerships, Romano dealerships, Lamacchia Honda, Fcilo and many othersWe are honest transport company, but our drivers do need to get paid and we will not work for free. Thanks you for your attention in this matter. Sincerely,Maria D***

In regards to this complaint of damage to a lawn. We did pick up a vehicle from the residence across the street and at the time of pick up the customer never mentioned to my driver that he had hit the grass. We picked the unit up and was notified the following Wednesday that there was damage to the...

lawn between the curb & the side walk. I advise the complainant as it had been a week I could not be assured that is was done by my truck, as they have garbage trucks, lawn care trucks etc., in the area. I advised him to call the city as this is city property and not owned by homeowner. He did respond and informed me the city it is their responsibility but they would not be out to repair it.
