Mr [redacted] purchased a power supply from us and improperly installed it which may have caused damage to itWe know this for reasonsHe told us what he did and we saw it when he brought in the computerThe computer was incorrectly wiredI will not refund money under these circumstances The power supply has a yr warranty through the manufacturer and we told him that he should send it inIf they say he didn't damage it then they will replace it Also, we had no conversation with him about purchasing his computer and there is no way this computer is worth $ As for our $diagnostics fee, He knew this when he brought his computer inHe asked us to diagnose this computer because he has tried so many things to get it running that he was convinced that it had more problemsWe spent our time correcting the wiring and ran full hardware diagnostics All Mr [redacted] has to do is pay us for the diagnostics fee, pick up his computer, properly install a power supply and his computer will be fineIf he can get the power supply replaced by the manufacturer then it will be inexpensive for him His computer is set to be recycled on 8/29/(days from when he brought it in)However, I will extend that for him till 10/01/ -- Thanks, ***

Ken and his crew just completed the replacement of my driveway, garage floor, stoop and walkway last week and I could not be more pleasedKen and his crew were professional, friendly and knowledgeableThey finished the job on time for the amount quotedKen really cares about his craft and his customers which was evident throughout the process

Mr. [redacted] purchased a power supply from us and improperly installed it which may have caused damage to it. We know this for 2 reasons. 1. He told us what he did and 2. we saw it when he brought in the computer. The computer was incorrectly wired. I will not refund money under these circumstances....

The power supply has a 1 yr warranty through the manufacturer and we told him that he should send it in. If they say he didn't damage it then they will replace it.   Also, we had no conversation with him about purchasing his computer and there is no way this computer is worth $1500.   As for our $39.99 diagnostics fee, He knew this when he brought his computer in. He asked us to diagnose this computer because he has tried so many things to get it running that he was convinced that it had more problems. We spent our time correcting the wiring and ran full hardware diagnostics   All Mr. [redacted] has to do is pay us for the diagnostics fee, pick up his computer, properly install a power supply and his computer will be fine. If he can get the power supply replaced by the manufacturer then it will be inexpensive for him.   His computer is set to be recycled on 8/29/15 (60 days from when he brought it in). [redacted] brought his computer in with an additional power supply and asked us to perform diagnostics on it. He asked our diagnostics price and agreed to the price. I ran diagnostics on his 3 hard drives, motherboard and ram. The diagnostics that we ran took about 6 hrs to run mainly because of the 3...

hard drives. His problem does appear to be the power supply but we won’t know if the problem is limited to the power supply until the correct part is installed. The one he brought in isn’t for this machine and doesn’t even have the wiring harness. It takes a special wiring harness. The one he needs in Dell part # [redacted] which is the information I gave him. This part sells on Amazon for $64.58 and I quoted him $50 because I can get it cheaper than Amazon. Here’s the link: [redacted] Specs: ·         Input: 100-120V 200-240V ·         Output: 750w Max ·         Compatible Part Numbers: U9692, JK933, U9692 ·         Compatible Model Numbesr: N750P-00, H750P-00 ·         Connectors: P1 - 24-Pin Standard ATX Power Connector, P2 - 20-Pin Standard ATX Power Connector, P3 - 12-Pin ATX Power Connector, P4 - 6-Pin Dell Proprietary Connector, P5 - 6-Pin PCI-E Power Connector [redacted] said that he wanted to get the power supply himself and bring it to us and I agreed to that. I wasn’t trying to make any extra money but I told him to get the right power supply because it has proprietary connections. I explained to him that this is a Dual Xeon workstation and not a normal computer.  Here is a link to Dell’s website with pictures of the connections. [redacted] He agreed to get the correct power supply and told me that he had ordered it. The next day he called me to tell me that I didn’t know what I was doing because that computer could use any IBM PC compatible power supply. This computer has connectors that aren’t on normal power supplies. Those connectors are bold and underlined in the specs above. This is what it needs. He insist that he is right but he is not. He refuses to get the correct part. Even a beginner tech knows that these connections aren’t on normal power supplies but not [redacted] thinks he knows more than Dell, Amazon and me. [redacted] needs to research this information and find out that he is wrong. [redacted] needs to pay me for the work that I have done. [redacted] needs to remove the unfair and bad reviews of my shop that he put up. [redacted] needs to apologize for his bad behavior (which I have on my surveillance video). I disagreed with him but I never crossed the line like he did. I do good work and treat people fair. That’s why I have been in business for 17 years. Only a few people complain about my service but I have had thousands of happy customers. -- Thanks,
