The complaint was submitted on 6/22/2016 and was assigned an ID of [redacted] .I read the complaint and have sent an email to the party involved. I reiterated our policy, but also gave options to resolve. Every new member signs a gym membership contract. I wasn't... part of the conversation, but we have contracts in place to avoid 'what I heard' type mis-communications. Our contracts are very specific with terms, refunds and cancellation policies.Thank youJim [redacted]

5/7/16:I reviewed the situation with my *** ***. The original contract was signed in Oct by previous management (I purchased club/gym in Dec 2015). The information in the system (*** *** does our record keeping/billing/contract & financial maintenance) shows an
expiration date of 6/30/16. Not 4/30/that is stated in the complaint. We have put in a cancellation date of 6/30/to officially close out this membership and in accordance with the signed contract. I informed my *** *** to have this individual contact me directly with any questions. I found the copy of my contract, it appears that I was suppose to be paying only $35.00 monthly for the service. however Anytime fitness has been charging me $45.00 resulting in overdraft fees in my account. Anytime fitness did not honor their end of the contract and took funds from my account that I never authorized. Therefor  I am still asking that I be let out of my contract.
