Review: This company delivered my bed and didn't set it up properly. They left me with a broken dresser and mirrior. One of the drivers made sexual gestures towards my 13 year old daughter. I call twice and spoke to two diffrent representiives. I requested the [redacted] and the first rep said he's not availible the sec rep claimed he was in a meeting I have yet to have anyone adress any of my issues.Desired Settlement: I desire to be adressed respectfully in regards to this situation. This company needs to be held accountable for all employees action. Its unexceptable for people like this to just be sent out into coustomers homes and violate in this manner. The [redacted] should have taken the time to deal with this situation and rectifiy it justly on behalf of This company. There was no care or concern for myself or my family.

Review: I have purchased a warranty on a now discontinued piece of furniture a technician came deemed the couch non fixable they stated they would order a part for a DISCONTINUED product,I have been waiting for months. I called the store numerous times spoke to one manager who was supposed to turn my call and hasnt, I called 3 times there after to no avail. This is ridiculous because I purchased my warranty and my couch is peeling and the longer I wait the worst it gets. This shouldn't be when I purchased my things and the warranty.Desired Settlement: I would like my couch situation resolved I purchased my warranty and furniture with no problems and I shouldn't be having difficulty being satisfied so I would either like a new couch set being there is no part for a discontinued set or the peeling of my furniture fixed

Review: I went to the ridgewood Express furniture warehouse to purchase a living room set. I was told I could do a layaway plan. I sign up for the layaway plan and put a deposit of $250. I went a couple months later to place a final payment and retrieve the living room set only to find out they no longer hat the one I put on hold in stock. I was told that I could choose another living room set, but all the sets that they had in stock was more money than the original one I placed on hold. So could choose a different one at a additional price. I need the set so I chose that wasn't to much more money. The living room set(which included sofa,loveseat,coffee table and 2 end-tables) was do to be delivered July ** after 7pm for a fee of $78. On delivery day the deliver people come and tell me there's a additional $10 fee because I live above the 3rd floor (the store never told me. They bring the furniture to my apartment only to find they do not have any of the tables. I call the store they tell me the tables will be delivered he next day. from july [redacted] to today july [redacted] I still have not received my tables. today I called the store now they are saying it may not be in stock. They got paid for a complete living room set also for delivery but I have not received my tables.Desired Settlement: I would like my tables also I would like to be reimbursed my 10 extra delivery fee that I was not told about from the store and the extra 30 I had to pay for them not having the set that they originally let me put on hold. 1) 3 Tables2) $40 reimbursement

Review: I went to the store to purchase a bed room set for my grand daughter. I was accompanied by my daughter, [redacted]. We were attended to by a female employee. Unfortunately I do not recall her name. However, she was the only female employee working at that time on 05/**/2015. We saw a bedroom set that we both really liked because the bed had drawers on the front, side and head board. We asked her the price for the set. Her response was that the store had a sale going on and we could get the six pieces that would include: head board, foot board, rails, dresser, mirror, and one night stand for $1098.00. She proceeded to right up an invoice. She stated that the only way she could guarantee that we would get the set at this price would be to leave a deposit no matter how small. Upon her sales presentation we also agreed to purchase a mattress and a mattress cover and extended warranty. We went back to the store to find out how much less it would be if we purchased only the bed because the room is small. This was on 6/*/15. The sales person that filled out the invoice was present and was avoiding us upon entering the store. We waited about 30 minutes after arriving to the store and requesting assistance from the [redacted] before a gentleman came over to us. Upon asking the sale price of just the bed this is when we were told that the sales person made a mistake. We showed him the invoice and informed him that we spent about 90 minutes in the store and the salesperson that wrote the invoice assured us that this is the sales price and that if we put a down payment it would guarantee us to get the set at this piece. I have in my possession the invoice that the salesperson wrote in her own hand writing which I signed.Desired Settlement: We would like for express furniture warehouse to honor the price for the bedroom set that was quoted to us by their sales representative and agreed upon in the form of a signed invoice.

Review: Two pieces of furniture were supposed to be delivered on Saturday, March **, 2014, a sectional couch and a rocker/recliner. We were told that we would be charged an $80 delivery fee. When the delivery man arrived at the door, he said that the couch did not fit in the elevator downstairs nor in the staircase. I knew this to be untrue because larger couches were taken out of the apartment the day before. My wife who received the delivery said that only one man came upstairs to bring the rocker/recliner and the detachable piece of the sectional. On top of that, he asked my wife to help him remove the rocker/recliner from the box. No receipt was given for the delivery fee of $80 dollars. (fee is listed on originally receipt) In addition, the delivery man told my wife that the procedure when a couch does not fit is to call the warehouse to be given contact information for a third party who would break apart the couch so it would fit. He said this would cost an additional $80 but that this price was negotiable. I called the store to inquire about how soon this could be done. The store manager called me and told me that this would cost $148 and that I did not have the option to return the couches and get my money back.

I would like my couch to be delivered and do not think that I should pay for additional delivery charges. If I must pay for the couch to be taken apart, I would like for the price to be as low as possible considering a poor job was done while delivering the couches and we were told a price range that has not been honored.Desired Settlement: I would like my couch delivered without any further breakdown/delivery costs and this matter done with. I will no longer be doing business with this business because of their shady practices.

Review: On 9/[redacted]2013 I purchased a single twin mattress which totalled $138. I was told delivery fee would be $58.00 even though the driver wasn't even driving a full mile to get to my home. I was told by [redacted] the sales rep who helped with my purchase the mattress would be delivered to me on 9/**/13 because a fresh load of mattresses would be coming in. I called 9/**/13 and was told [redacted] wasn't in and my merchandise was out for delivery. I received the mattress 9/**/13 around 6:30-7:00 my brother set it up on 9/**/13 which was the first night my daughter slept on it and she was bit up I tried contacting [redacted] the sales rep but he's never in. I checked the mattress for bugs but didn't find anything I let her sleep with me for the next few nights and she slept comfortable without getting bit. .Night number she slept in the bed and was bit again I contacted the furniture store and spoke to [redacted] when I told him my problem he said didn't u call before we can't do anything about that its been 28 days already and it didn't come from the warehouse else it'll be through your whole apartment. I then asked for a supervisor. Someone who identified himself as the manager name [redacted] said how do I know its bugs did I hire an exterminator. I said no I saw one on the sheet . He said how they are not visible. I said sir can someone please come get this mattress out of my home and can I be refunded my money [redacted] insisted that there's no bugs in the warehouse my daughter is being bit by mosquitos and I can't get my money backDesired Settlement: The store should be investigated/inspected. Information of where the merchandise is manufactured should be requested if inspection fail...the store and its suppliers should be closed

Review: My husband and I went in to purchased a sectional and were help by a salesperson name [redacted] We were told that we were getting a sectional and he told is to the effect when the pieces arrived they were only two pieces not the three. When I called and spoked to the manger she in inform us that there was nothing we can do until the sale person return on Friday. I went on Friday and she wanted to charge me an extra three hundred dollars for the missing piece. I just want my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.
