Review: Purchased a Contemporary Sofa Set from the retailer last February **, 2013. The set came from Coaster Furniture and with the set care, manufacturing, warranty, and or guarantee information pamphlet where it states that if within the first year of warranty/guarantee I need a repair or replacement for the set that I would have to inform the retailer of such for given services. I have also contacted the merchandiser/manufacturer of the sofa set Coaster Furniture requesting information on how to obtain a repair/replacement on the sofa that I purchased from the retailer, they advised me that yes I do have a one year warranty/guarantee on the sofa and that I should inform the retailer about my problem so they can either repair/replaced the sofa. A few months after I brought the sofa I went to sit down and the sofa kind of caved in some with a spring coming out. At that point of time I could not find nor the receipt of the retailer or the pamphlet that came with the set so I could call in the issue. I went to a local upholstery store and asked for advice on what I can do? The gentlemen was kind enough to go check the sofa for me to see what could be done. Unfortunately he could not do anything because ut turned out to be that the inside wood of the sofa is rotten and needs to be repaired or rather replaced so he advised me to call the retailer and notify them of the problem, I also e-mailed and called the manufacturer/merchandiser on several occasions informing them of the issue. I have called and visited the retailer on several occasions and nothing has been done, I have also e-mailed Coaster Furniture and up to this date have not received a response. As you can see I am running out of time trying to have my issue solved and I really can not afford to buy another sofa. When I visited the retailer he told me that if the sofa can not be repaired that he will sell me a new one at a discounted price instead of just replacing it with a new one as stated on the pamphlet. I need my problem solved, please.Desired Settlement: If a replacement can not be satisfied as to the pamphlet then I would request a full amount refund for the sofa set itself for all the problems and bad service they have provided, without me giving anything in return because they do not deserve it. The retailer called in December that he was coming to see the sofa never showed up, then I called him back a few times and he responded that he would come check the sofa and till this date no show. I contacted coaster furniture and no response.
