My husband and I rented through this company for almost yearsThis was the WORST experience with a rental company we have ever had to deal with in our years of rentingUpon moving up there were several issues with the home we rentedBad carpets, bad water heater, no screens that fit in the windows around the entire home, dirty, and a bug issueThey refused to replace all of the carpets expect one room and the only reason they replaced the carpets in that one room is because there was dried urine and feces on it and I refused to move in with it like thatThe home was not clean and my husband and I had to clean before we could even move inI had a list of over items that was wrong with the homeGetting them to return an e-mail or a phone call the entire time we lived there was impossibleSubmitting any form of maintenance request was a hassle as well You would wait days and have to make several phone calls before someone would show upThe gas company came out at one point and told them the hot water heater needed to be replaced and they still wouldn't replace itWe NEVER had the screens replaced in the home even after several calls and requests and because of this we were never able to open the windows in fear of all of the bugs getting into the homeWhen we moved out we left the home in perfect conditionWe had to buy our own paint supplies (that we even left behind for the next tenant) to patch the small photo holes in the wallsWe left that house move in readyWe requested to have a walk through before we moved out and they refusedWe were expected to get back $800, which was the deposit we put down and that did NOT happenThey held back $stating the home was not left in good condition [redacted] advised me no matter how nice the house looks they will ALWAYS take 30% of your deposit for cleaning fees, even if there is no cleaning to be doneThere was a door that needed to be touched up with paint and a apparently a scuff mark on bedroom wall - for those items they charged us $When I called [redacted] to question the refund amount we got he was extremely rudeBasically told me that I was stupid and that his year old son was smarter than meIt was the WORST experience ever! I have never, in my years of renting, left a bad review but I am this timeDO NOT rent from this companyThey are a joke and will take every last dime they can get from youSave yourself the stressI will never recommend this company to anyone, ever

They are a joke and will take every last dime they can get from you. Save yourself the stress. I will never recommend this company to anyone, ever.

My husband and I rented a house from the Jaques Company in July of this year. We have had a multitude of problems with our house and The Jaques Company does not return our e-mails or our phone calls. The repairs to our home still have not been made. The railing on our deck is rotted and our 25 pound, 2 year old daughter almost fell through it; our living/kitchen floor is coming up and our children have cut their feet. This is unacceptable. We filed a complaint with the Revdex.com on October 1 and The Jacques Company has not responded to the Revdex.com either. I would NEVER recommend that anyone do business with this treacherous company.
