Which has led me to hire Express Moving for an additional move from Miami to Boca RatonWhich ultimately led us to hire them to move my office furniture as well
This Company Express Moving moved me from house to another house in the same neighborhood, houses away from each otherIt took the man crew hours to do itThey stopped for a break and lunch for an hourAt the end of the move the owner called and started to harass my wife that HIS MOVERS are taking too long and strong armed us for more moneyWe had too pay or he was going to call his movers off the jobDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The owner of Express Moving is unethical and deceitfulHe will break his agreement of price stated
I was very disappointed in this moving company. I have dealt with many moving companies over the years and was never treated so shabbily as I was by this company.
As requested I paid half the amount when the merchandise to be moved was picked up. We agreed that the rest I would pay after the delivery was done. The day before the delivery I was informed that the delivery can only take place if the money was paid at the delivery site which meant someone else would have to pay for it. So I agreed that my son would pay for the items upon delivery. I informed Express Moving that the delivery must take place 3:30-4:00PM when someone would be home. I was told that this was 'no problem'. The delivery person called at 7:45 PM that they were on their way and that they would be there around 9:00-10:00 PM. This was an unacceptable time to start delivering and assembling furniture. We were told that an additional $600.00 would be necessary to 'redeliver the next day.' This was totally unacceptable and not stated in the contract besides delivering and assembling furniture at such a late hour when children are sleeping in the home is just not acceptable. We were then informed that the merchandise would be delivered the following morning but that was not to be either. They called and said they would be there 12:00-12:30 PM but did not arrive until 3 PM at which time we had to argue about paying an additional fee. We argued about the fee since they should have arrived in a much more timely fashion the day before. We did not pay an additional fee after major arguing. In addition, the original person with whom we had contact yelled at us about how wrong we were and that this was our fault and then would not even take our calls just ignoring us. We tried leaving messages and texting but to no avail. As I stated We have dealt with many moving companies over the years and we always paid after everything was delivered and set up but this was not to be with Express Moving in Boca Raton Fl. We would NEVER NEVER NEVER recommend this company to anyone not even my worst enemy.
