Ms [redacted] Attached you can find the response to complaint ID # [redacted] [redacted] Revdex.com ID#: [redacted] Dear Ms***, Thank you for contacting us for verification of incidentWe were aware of such situation and we did our best to explain the policies and procedures to this long-time customer of which she has been familiar with, but were unsuccessfulMs [redacted] has for the past years made over loans, which she has lost The item in question as you can see in attachment A, was for a loan total amount of $3,At the time of transaction we gave her a copy of the loan agreement which she signed, and informed her of her due date at that timeHer due date was for April st, 2014, to which we automatically rolled over an additional month as a grace period making it a maximum date to pick up her item of May 23, Customer did not show up to the store until June 14th, On top of the contracts we provided on the initial loan date, we sent Ms [redacted] reminder letters as you can see in attachment B (The final notice), stamped by the USPS clerk as "sent" to the address she provided, letting her know her item was being rolled over an additional (and Final) days This is standard policy at Express Financial services where we strive daily to uphold our well know reputation in our community and throughout San Diego County In regards to the two policies Ms [redacted] states we are in violation of she sent us an inquiry via our website, see attachment C, citing two policies, but made no inquires of any solution, only an informational complaintThese two policies are two which we strictly adhere to, in addition to posting signage at each of our stores regarding a lost ticket fee, which we only charge $of the maximum $And in regards to the loan contract our standard procedure is to give the contract to the customer always where they in turn present to the cashier (at a different station) to get the cash loan, without the contract in their possession, the point-of-sale cannot be executed.If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (619) Thank you [redacted] ***

The first resolution you gave me Which was sending "The laptop" out to a technician "Of your choice" to be repaired Was denied because you Refused to give me a receipt to verify that my computer Was in the hands of someone that you referred it to, The female Co-worker that was there with you Did say several times that it was okay to give me a receipt And you still Refused to do so, "Saying that you did not do that".
 As for offering my money back as a refund, There was "Obviously" a  Misunderstanding In our communication because "I Truly thought you said  there was a 50% restocking fee Which is clearly noted in the first letter to The Revdex.com.  As for the refund I am willing to resolve this issue So that both parties Are able to Uphold our Personal/Public and or Business integrity.  That is As previously stated In this Response A 15% Restocking fee.  Which 15% Which 15% of $322.92 is: $274.48.  Willing to accept That amount With the return of the laptop.  Please note this is the only resolution that I am willing to accept.  Sincerely [redacted]. Thank you for all your support and communication. As you and the Revdex.com have knowledge of, we have all of our policies in compliance with the California Financial Code. We would like to make mention that in section 2:1201. it is stated that the loan period is of 4 months, and that the notifications are required per this section up to 30 days after the 4 months of expiration, and within that section it makes mention of section 21200.25 where the Customer, if he or she desires, can have the pawnbroker send the notice of termination of loan by registered or certified mail with return receipt request, upon prepayment of the mailing cost. All of which is posted in our store {I have attached a photograph of such sign}. Ms. [redacted] opted out of this benefit. This section goes on to state that after 4 four months and 10 days from notice the pawnbroker may be vested with all right, title, and interest of the pledger, etc. At Express Financial Services, we generously give all customer 5 months, and an additional 30 days to redeem their items. At that time, pursuant to section 21201.2 when we are obliged to mail out registered mail to the pledger (Certificate of Mailing herewith attached) as required in section 21201, we may charge additional fees for up to $3 for services and cost pertaining to preparation of the notice, etc.
As explained above, our policies and how we conduct services are not only clear to all of our customers, but are also compliant to California Financial Code, which is why we are unclear to what continues to be Ms. [redacted]'s confusion: To further elaborate on Ms. [redacted]'s reaction to the loss of her items, she is the Daughter of a valued Employee who has been with Express Financial Services for over 7 years, same reason to why she was granted a higher toan amount, for the item in question. This item was sold at the price of $2627, creating a loss of near $400, plus the additional loss that this has generated since then, and same reason to why we cannot comprehend that Ms. [redacted] understands and accepts that she lost some items because they are a lower price, as she so states in this reply to you, and on the other hand is completely confused to why the other item, of a higher price, was lost.

We thank you very much for your letter regarding Mr. [redacted]is [redacted]complaint. I would like to try and inform you the way our company works. We take ourcustomer service very seriously and we will never defraud our clients. We are a secondhandstore, we buy our customers used items, which is why we don't offer any warranty,however we do test all of our merchandise prior to purchasing them. We then have asecond inspection when it goes on sale to the public and a third inspection once anothercustomer intends to purchase the item. We verified that the internet and wirelessconnection function in the presence of Mr. [redacted]is [redacted] and it worked perfectly.
As much as I would love to help Mr. [redacted] we cannot take responsibility forwhat happens to an item once it leaves our store because of the previously mentioned. Wedid try to help Mr. [redacted] by offering to send the laptop with our technician and repairit, we also gave him the option to refund his purchase with 15% restocking fee.
Please see the attached Invoice #[redacted] with his signature of acknowledgement of ourexchange/refund policy stating that all sales are final, no warranties or refunds.
