Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in
reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meNow Express Auto Service did the labor work in installing both cylinder heads the right and let along with the rocker assembly , timing belt ,cam shafts left and right , cam shaft pulleys also cylinder head gaskets, head bolt set which they supplied and antifreeze Now there mechanic *** installed all these parts unfortunately he over tightened the cam shaft bolt and broke it which then ruined the pulley and cam shaft and broke the timing belt There for all I'm asking for it for Owner to refund my money for the labor that I paid plus parts that were ruined due to the mechanics negligence now total of the labor I payed them is $for labor $for head bolts that I have to replace and antifreeze they suppliedNow due to the part the his mechanic ruined is the cam shaft which caused the pulley to get ruined also because of the broken bolt he over tightened so that cam shaft costs $used and also need to take off the cylinder head again so I would need head gasket which costs $from auto part store and timing belt that busted cause of the over tightened of the bolt which caused the timing belt to break and belt costs $so total I'm asking for in return for the mistake in parts and labor are $

I performed the work with the paperwork that was provided to meEven within the complaint, client refuses to provide paperwork to me and acknowledges that they haven't provided the paperworkI tried offering them a credit towards other workThey just keep verbally badgering me and stating they want the money back

I ALREADY TALKED TO THE COUSTOMER AND GAVE HIM A REFUND,WHEN COUSTOMER BOUGHT THE ADAPTOR I DIDN’T PUT THEM ON THE CAR HE JUST BOUGHT THEM AND CARRIED THEM OUT ,I ALREADY TALKED TO HIS SISTER FOR A REFUND

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] was told that we are a dual member LLC. [redacted] was good the IRS confirmed this.  This should have been enough.  We believe [redacted] wanted to file a 1040 for his own lazy or additional reasons. Perhaps he knew theeealine had passed and he didn’t know how to recover.  We did not provided these documents because he insisted with 100% confidence that we need to file as a sole prop despite several attempts of me explaining to him that we were not.  These documents were in our files from a few years agai, so why wouldn’t I provide them if I needed to?   He clearly didn’t want them.  But now he does?  He had already decided he wanted to file as a sole prop, and missed the deadline.   Trying to recover by blaming his client is an attempt to cover himself up   He is not honest. No, I will not provide him a partnership agreement or any additional information at any time hereforward since we are not retaining him to work on our file in any circumstance. We do not trust him.  There is another accountant working on our taxes and he is in possession of our documents.      We are are not seeking $200 back, We are seeking a full refund since the incorrect return was sent to us, and furthermore that return had incorrect information on it, no expenses etc., and since we incorrectly paid the IRS $1268 for nothing- at the negligent advice of [redacted].  He owes us this money.

I was hired by Geeta [redacted] to prepare a State and Federal tax returns in accordance with IRS code and my professional judgement. The returns were prepared with information provided by taxpayer (e.g. address, SS#, etc). She was told to sign and mail-in the returns. As mentioned by her, she is...

currently in possession of those documents (both State and IRS). If she likes, I’d be happy to resend them to her. Dispute arose because taxpayer felt that I prepared the incorrect form in accordance to information that she submitted to IRS. I’ve spent countless hours explaining to her that upon inception of her business, she has submitted incorrect forms both to IRS and State hence they have designated incorrect requirements for her. She asserted that she has a partner that has no stake or control in the business and that he is there for convenience purposes. I informed her that in order to be considered a partner the tax code requires that person to have a stake (financial or control interest). I have also advised that she needs to fix the previously submitted incorrect forms ASAP with proper authorities. I notified her that filing a form 1065 would be a misrepresentation to IRS. When she demanded that I prepare returns her way, I told her that State ethics prohibit accountants from signing off on unsubstantiated paperwork and that I would need proper substantiation. She was asked to produce a partnership agreement; and consent form from the “partner” showing that he agrees to having a stake, claiming an income and paying the taxes on that income. She also needed to submit her bank records substantiating her business expenses. Taxpayer refused to provide these documents to us.                                      ... As a courtesy to her, I mentioned that once she provides the necessary documents I will give her $200 credit (pro-rata cost of her sole prop return) towards the partnership return. I’ve explained to her that preparing a partnership return involves a significantly greater scope and cannot be prepared at the same cost as a sole proprietor return and she would therefore receive the above mentioned credit.   She was not at any point promised a full refund, as the requested work was performed in accordance with IRS code and my professional judgement and submitted to the taxpayer.Tell us why here...
