We are fortunate to choose Exquisite, our landscaping turned out awesome
Alfie is easy person to work with and he is honest and can be trusted
The payments are broken down many times and we feel very fair for both sides

Exquisite Landscapes salesman *** showed up at our door and promised to provide a landscaping plan for a $deposit, he promised that the money will be refunded if we decide not to hire them for our landscaping jobWe ended up not selecting them for the job and requested a refund of our depositinitially their owner ***, who was working next door promised that a cheque will be sent to us shortly which never arrived, he finished the next door job and was nowhere to be found since thenThey stopped taking my calls and pretend to not even know me when I see them around in the neighborhood

Do Not Use this company....they start really nice and seem like they are going to do an amazing job, but once they start...it takes longer and the job will end up unfinished This business is a true bait and switch....go elsewhere...please don't get hoodwinked like I did

Hello,This is regarding Complaint ID - ***, Filed on 5/4/2016The business responded after months of filing the complaint with incorrect information and it seems the case was closed as no response was received from me within a week for which I apologize as I was out of town and did not check my emails.I would like to request this case be reopened.The business claimed that we changed our mind after the work was started, but we can provide a witness (their exForeman) to attest to our claim that no work was started before we called Exquisite and notified them of our intention of not proceeding with them.Their offer of partial refund also seems bogus to me since they never attempted to contact me even though they are still working on some home if our neighborhood.Please let me know if any more information is needed from me to reopen this case.Thanks,***

If I would've only read the other reviews of Exquisite Landscapes (EL) I would not find myself in the position I'm currently inI hired them to landscape my property, build a retaining wall, pour concrete, and install a BBQ and fire-pitAlthough I had reservations about the payment schedule and funding required to initiate/execute the project, early signs were promising in that workers were on-site daily and measurable progress was being madeUltimately, against my better judgement (in hindsight), I adhered to the terms of the payment schedule as the work appeared to be on track to be completed by the estimated completion date of 11/23/As of 11/23/16, much of the work appeared to be complete, and I paid all but a few hundred dollars of the $62,projectIn the ensuing days I noticed there were several problems with the quality of the work: the lava rocks in our fire-pit exploded and had to be replaced; the cap around the fire-pit cracked in multiple locations upon first use - when ultimately replaced the used the wrong color of concrete; the BBQ and kitchen appliances/doors were improperly installed; the artificial turf had multiple visible seams and anchors and was improperly installed; electrical outlets and transformer were improperly installed; ground cover and drainage were insufficient; and the landscaping was not to agreed upon standardsSince late November, I've repeatedly contacted EL to inquire about project completion and have them finish the work, and they have largely been unresponsive to my inquiriesIn addition, when I did have the chance to speak with the project manager, he either transferred blame to his subcontractors, or provided me a revised completion date which was never realizedThroughout the yet to be complete project, I feel that ELs primary concern was getting paid rather than customer satisfaction, and when paid they failed to deliver the work I contracted forMoreover, when talking with their subcontractors it was clear they were not paid either, and I was left with the risk of a lien against my property All in all if I could have a mulligan I'd surely take one

After months searching for landscaping company, I had looked a lot of projects from hardscape to softscape and finally we decided to choose Exquisite Landscape
Our landscaping turned out awesome, more beautiful and very unique which we could not imagine before, thanks to Alfie, the owner of company He is a down to earth guy, with good ideasHe genuinely enjoys his work and takes great pride in his designs We worked together with trust and respect and the final result is amazingWe are pleased with Exquisite's quality work which was the number one condition we emphasized on
We think the payments were broken down as fairly for both sidesAs outdoor work we understood and accepted some delays here and there since many factors

Short story, we had a terrible experience, do not work with exquisite *** and *** will make a lot of promises they will not keep Long story we hired exquisite to landscape our backyard they told us they would not sub out the job and then halfway through the job I found out the main contractor was a sub Shouldn't be a problem so I was ok I made my 2nd to last payment which brought us to 90% and they immediately stopped taking my calls After a lot of harassing I finally talked to them and figured out the sub stopped working because of non-payment to him I should have written checks directly to him I will never make that mistake The job now is done and the sub is going to put a lein on my house....worst contractor I have ever worked with...My best advice is not trust exquisite *** or ***, there word is not worth anything

Customer signed an agreement and we started the work on the property.
After signing the agreement and work having been started, the customer changed their mind and decided to go with another contractorThe $deposit refund only applies if we are still in the design process and there hasn't been a work agreement signed and the work has not been started.
All this being said and with the legal documentation to prove it, we are willing to provide $refund as a courtesy to this customerThank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Exquisite start moving construction material from other site to our home weeks before we signed contract and w/o see the final project planBe aware of payment, if you over paid them more than amount of work completionyour project will be left undo for few monthswe were left half way for monthsThere are lots of mis-communication from Sale person/ material order/ on site manager/ accountingAnd there is no customer serviceif you want headache and cut corner works for your projects, go for Exquisite

Exquisite Landscape (EL) was contracted on 07/18/for a landscaping project at our property with certain elements and set payments.The project was to be completed on 09/10/EL demanded payments stating that they were needed to buy materials and pay workers In good faith, we made those payments.However, work that was to be completed was not done.Once, EL received all but the final payment on 08/25/18, EL only showed up at the job once a weekAlso, they stopped answering our phone calls and texts.We sent a letter via email on 09/27/summarizing the situation and offered two options.EL did not acknowledge or respond to the letter.Another letter dated on 09/28/was sent via email notifying them of breach of contract and to not enter our property.A copy of both these letters is also being sent to them via certified mail.The first problem is that EL didnt finish the job as promised by 09/10/in spite of collecting all payments but the final payment.They ignore most attempts

Review: We were looking for landscapers to do our yard work. [redacted] from Exquisite landscape ( License : [redacted]) contacted us and offered to show us some plans. [redacted] requested a deposit of 1000$ to show the plan and promised us that it would be returned to us without any obligation if we chose not to hire them.

We informed [redacted] in the first week of November 2015 that we are not hiring Exquisite Lansdscape to do the job and requested a refund of 1000$. So far they have not returned it. [redacted] put in touch with Marcos of the same company to get the money back. Every time we called him , he put us on a chase. He lied to us every time saying the cheque has been cut but not mailed, forgot our address to send the cheque, will send someone in person but the person is not reachable etc.

Now both [redacted] and Marcos do not even pick our calls/ return our calls even after leaving voice message.Desired Settlement: We would like Exquisite Landscape to return our money ASAP.
