Several occurrences collectively, caused a delay in the work being completed There we're numerous change order scoped items that were requested by client to have us complete, in addition to the work already contractedSecond, customer hired other contractors that performed inadequate work
and had to wait an additional two weeks to straighten out their messAll while our company was still attempting to finish work already contracted We had to endure customer changing of scope on more than one occasion, which also contributed to a delay in finishing in a timely mannerThen last, but not least, we had to come behind the other contractors that were hired to do requested work, per customer, and clean up the enormous amounts of trash and debris left behind As a courtesy, we removed all the trash, moved customer furniture, fixed plumbing issues that were pre-existing, and never charged any additional money Yet we are the ones' customer wants to blame because we were expected to complete at least $12,additional work, outside of initial scope, clean up behind other hand-picked contractors, and perform numerous miscellaneous repairs...all within the same time frame allotted for the original work Informed customer that when additional work is requested, that goes outside of original scope, then the time parameters set forth at the beginning, now become null and void Customer still owes remaining balance of original work, as well as balance from executed change order Work that customer, states we didn't finish wasn't even in the original scope of work
