I checked into this hotel on 7/15/2013 and I ask the front desk clerk if this hotel had bed bugs [redacted] looked at me and told me no. This is a temporary move for myself and my family as we was displaced. When reviewing the website for this hotel it looked as if it would be fine to stay in for a few weeks until I got a new place that has not been the case as of today 7/26/2013. Since the move in there have been several things brought to my attention in regards the misleading infromation from the website to the actually hotel. This room is about 232.00 a week with a 50.00 deposit when you check in. Let me start by saying the health department just closed the pool at the hotel to the public on 7/25/2013. This hotel looks nothing like the website from the pictures to the rooms to the pool to outdoors nothing looks like the website. this is very misleading pratice. A few days after moving in we started to see roaches in the room since the move in we have killed 8 they claim they treated the room. In addition to the roaches on 7/24/2013 my daughter found a bed bug. The manager sent down someone with a flash light to look at the matresses and states that we are good and we have no more bed bugs. On 7/25/2013 my daughter found another bed bug in the oppistie bed and that was reported to the front desk as well on 7/25/2013 about 930pm after work.Also on 7/25/2013 9 am I requested a new set of bedsheet because I spilled my drink I never got a new set of sheets and slept with the ones I had on the bed. In addition to this I never heard anything from the manager about the 2nd bed bug until 7/26/2013 after leaving a meesage and advised her that I would be filing this complaint. So after 8 raoches and 2 bed bugs found and the hotel not offering us even a new room is unacceptable. Also misleading website something has to be done. Sincerely if I had the additional money to move to another hotel I would have.
