Review: In September my mother entered the [redacted] facility. 5 days later I received a bill for the entire month of September and was told it needed to be paid immediately by an office manager. I paid the bill with the understanding that if my mother were to leave before the month was over she would receive a refund for the rest of the money. As it turns out she was released to a hospital after staying in the facility for only 7 days. After several visits to the office manager (who is never there) and countless phone calls I have not received a response for the refund owed to my mother from anyone, including management after leaving my phone number several times. I have the original agreement stating exactly how much was to be paid for my mother's stay based on the number of days she was there and according to the agreement our family overpaid a significant amount of money.Desired Settlement: For my mother to be refunded the money she is owed.

Extendicare Health Services, Inc. did respond and resolved my complaint by sending my family a refund. Although unfortunate that I had to seek help from another organization, it was finally resolved.
