This client signed a contract with EBS on 5-13-This was to install siding on a portion of his home and was to be done with siding that had to be special orderedHe did not provide his required deposit until 5-20-That is when we
ordered the siding from Cardinal Building SupplyWhen this client tried to get his credit card company to reverse his charges he told them we were supposed to install the siding on 5-14-even though he had not provided a deposit and the material had to be special ordered and brought into StLouisThe siding was delivered to his house on 6-12-The StLouis area had the wettest June on record and we were unable to install the siding as soon as it was delivered because of the weatherWe attempted to install the siding his home on 6-22-but were unable to reach his home the way our GPS had directed us because of the road being closed from floodingBy the time the client provided us with an alternative route to his home we had sent our crew to another location to work for the dayThe client became irate with my Production Manager(***) and told him he wanted to cancel the contract*** told him there would be expenses because we are not able to return special ordered material or we could come back the very next day to install his sidingHe told *** just to pick the siding up and cancel the contractI called the client the next day and explained to him once again that because of the siding being special ordered he would have to pay for itWe would be happy to leave the material for him and he could hire someone else to install it for him since he was paying for the material anywayHe told me he was not going to pay for it and he wanted it picked upI told him that I would not refund his money since the contract called for a 25% cancellation fee and that special ordered material has to be paid for since it can not be returnedHe began yelling at me and said we would see about his not paying for the materialWhen he began screaming at me I terminated the call
I gave this client every possible opportunity to resolve this in his favorHe would not co-operate at all
This clients credit card had originally taken back the money they had credited to us on his behalf until they performed their investigationAfter that investigation they ruled that he was at fault and not EBS and returned his deposit to us
I will not refund this clients depositEBS bent over backwards to accommodate him and he would not try to help himself at allI am not going to lose money because he was unreasonable

First of all, this client was called and he even returned one of my repairman's call and left a voicemail on his phoneIn EBS performed a
repair on this clients roof and gave him a year workmanship warrantyThis repair has been out of warranty for yearsEBS stands behind its workHoweverrepairs are temporary in nature and chimney flashings require caulk to seal the top edgeIt is very possible the caulk on the flashings has dried outEBS is not responsible for doing this maintenance item or fixing any of his issues that have resulted
