This business is a landscaping business. One of their lawn mowers threw a piece of gravel and it hit my car and knocked a small dent on left top fender taking off the paint. I got estimate on repair. Owner came and looked at it and said he was not going to pay that estimate. He was suppose to go by business that made the estimate. This has been three weeks and he has not been back in touch with me. He will not answer my calls or text. This is no way to conduct business. Very disappointed. He said the estimate was to high.Desired SettlementPay for my vehicle to be repaired. This business did this damage and they need to pay for it to be fixed.Business Response This home owner called me and said we hit her car with a rock and had a dent the size of her thumb and a chip of paint gone. I went and looked at it and was shocked, There was no dent at all and yes there is a chip of paint on the finder. ( it is the size of a pin head ) I was given a estimate for 329.00. NO WAY. I told her I ws not paying for that. That was Crazy. I do not even think we did it, Just because a person calls and said we did something like this Does not mean we did it. I was simply going to give her 25.00 to make it go away. I have contacted the place that mixed the paint and they have not contacted me about it. This clam has on merit. I have a "picture".Consumer Response I never told him the size of the chip. It is the size of a pea and it took off the paint and I have just recently gotten the car painted. I was home when the guy was cutting my grass and I heard the noise and went outside and found the piece of gravel laying on the hood of my car. I looked my car over and that's when I saw the chip. I know they did it. I am not guessing who did it. He even said he could see where that could happen when he looked at it. This claim does have merit. I am a christian lady and will not tell a lie. God above knows I am telling the truth. It will not go away until it is FIXED. They have also done other damage in my yard and the owner knows it. Maybe he could also replace my stoop to my outside building. He told me he sent someone over here with a hammer and nails to fix it, but no one came and FIXED the stoop either. Picture was taken of this and nothing was ever done. Seems this is the way he conducts business. They also bent the front of my building. If he has a picture he knows it has MERIT. A picture was also taken of the damage to my stoop and building. This business needs to pay for this damage to my car. It has to be FIXED or it will rust.Final Business Response This customer sent me a text and said she would take 25.00. If she wants that I will do so. Any more would be out of the question.
