We hired Exterminex on * June 2015 to resolve an issue of animals in our ceiling. The contract they gave us was for 3 months, good through the [redacted] of September. They sent out a serviceman named Shaun. He told us we had squirrels in our ceiling. We told him we thought it could also be raccoons. He gave us his reasons why they were squirrels: squirrel fur, feces, etc. and quoted us a price to remove them - $865.56
He was guessing.
He set one trap in 3 months. One squirrel was caught, a squirrel that could have come from anywhere in the backyard. He never came to get it and the poor thing died in the cage. Shaun told us he closed the entry points. He didn't as we continued to have the problem. He never showed up when he said he would. He said he would call first. He NEVER called, not once.
The contract said they would stay with the problem until it was resolved. They were not true to the contract.
When we finally got Shaun to come back, he said he found a hole on the side of our building and would have to return with a partner. They would use a harness to patch up the hole. He said he would return the next day. He didn't return for more than a week.
He came alone.
At this point he said they were raccoons and that would be a different price and therefore not under the present contract. To remove raccoons would cost $1200
We spoke to the boss at Exterminex. He said Shaun told him he caught a lot of squirrels and that this was now another, separate issue.
Shaun also told us, initially, he would not kill what he caught. Later he said, he always killed them.
Exterminex is a dishonest company that others should be made aware.
We hired another another company, Bug Busters. They come highly recommended by me.
Vince came on Wed the [redacted].
He saw no hole in the side of our building as Shaun had said.
He set 2 traps.
2 raccoons were caught and he came immediately to take them to a place where he would free them.
So far, the price for his services has been $408.

The place where they thought it was coming in was repaired but wasn't the entree for the squirrel . I found where it came in and I fixed it ! Final outcome was I did all the work , they never found the squirrel . They never fill there obligation to guarantee me a pest free attic .. I still feel they did nothing for $650.00 , said they would show up every  24 hours never did I've been robbed I should get a full refund !!

Review: Re: Return of my Money of $538.93 of their "Money Back Guarantee" for Failing to Deliver on Pest Control. I found their AD in the Queens County Yellow Pages. Their Ad said "Money Back Guarantee" in Bold Black Letters. I contracted them to cure the problem of Fleas in my Home. On the first Treatment on ** April 2013, he did a good job and sprayed the Chemicals on the Floor. However, in 2 weeks a new batch of Fleas were born and were biting us, and we were itching and itching and could not sit and watch t.v or at my computer and do my work. I called them back to do another chemical treatment, and he said his chemicals were good for one month and refused to come back in two weeks. On the Second Treatment a month later, on ** May 2013, the same Technician, [redacted], put his Cannister in my Kitchen sink and filled it with water, thereby diluting the very little chemical he had in it and sprayed the floors again. 4 hours later, my Hardwood Floors were still soaking wet, thereby proliferating the Fleas. I called [redacted], [redacted], and complained and once again he said his Treatment is good for one month. What a Scam! another month later, on * July 2013, the same Technician came over with 4 small Bombs, lit 2 Upstairs and 2 downstairs. These Bombs did nothing to kill the Fleas except, to bring them out of their hiding and torture us once again. His Receipt gave me only a 90-day guarantee. He wasted 3 months of our time, by doing a Dishonest job; namely, only the first time he sprayed some chemicals, the other 2 times were a joke! i.e. a Water Treatment and Bombs. I sent him a letter demanding my Money back, on ** July 2013 for failing to Deliver. To date, I have not heard from them. What happened to this "False Advertising" of "Money-Back Guarantee"? What a Scam!Desired Settlement: ASAP. I need my Money so that I can buy the Chemicals from the Internet. While I have bought some Chemicals from the Internet on my Credit Card, I need to buy more, as I am spraying every 2 weeks, hoping to cure the problem and I need my Money to pay my Credit Card Bills for these Chemicals.

This Pest Control Man called "[redacted]" is a very Dishonest man. He claims I missed last 2 appointments? He is talking about Appointments "after I complained to the Revdex.com". I tried to tell him that he had THREE Months to cure this problem as his Technician, called [redacted], gave me a "90-Day Guarantee" on the Receipt and, in the last 3 months he bullied me by saying his Treatments are good for One month and refused to treat the place every 2 weeks. He gave this House 3 Treatments in 3 Months and only the first treatment was a chemical one. The second after one month was a "Water Treatment" where his Technician placed his Canister in my Kitchen Sink and filled it with water to dilute and mix whatever little chemical was left in that Canister that, even after 4 hours my Hard-Wood Floors were soaking with water and the Third treatment were 4 small Bombs that, only brought the bugs out to bite us and did not kill them. He wasted 3 months of my time, and now because he has to pay back the money, and he does not want to, he is trying to offer another treatment. He cannot cure this problem with just one treatment. His 90-day Guarantee is over and because he was so Dishonest in the last 3 months, by low-balling me with the appointments, I do not want to have anything to do with him and under his "90 day Money Back Guarantee", I want my Money back so I can treat this place with Chemicals myself from the Internet. If he is an Honest man, he should learn to respect his Advertisement and give my Money back. I would NOT have hired him if there was No money back Guarantee. It appears to me that besides he being a Scam, his Advertisement that states "Money back Guarantee" is also a scam.

I would like to mail you (Revdex.com) copy of my letter to him, together with the "illegible copy" of the Receipt he gave me (except the 90-day Guarantee is legible) and a copy of his Ad that states in Bold Black Capital Letters "Money Back Guarantee".
