My company responded to this client with a heat treatment to the entire structure in the month of December 2013. our contract clearly states that all heat treatments are back by a ** inspection. at that time the ** cleared the entire home. the client then had a new tenant move in in December of 2013. In May of 2014 the client contacted me to inform me that his tenant is getting bit.(no bed bug sightings, just being bit) I told him that we cleared his home several months ago. He was not happy with that so I offered to have a ** (at my companies expense) come out to run through the structure. At that time, the ** alerted in the master bedroom. no visual activity was found. My company went back to the location at no charge and reheated the entire structure. No bed bug activity or evidence of activity was found during treatment. My company then payed again to have a ** come through the home and cleared the property. ( the same ** was use on the pre and post inspection.) We normally wait two weeks to bring the ** through but the client insisted because the tenant's boyfriend wanted to move in and he wanted it cleared.
A few weeks later the client called my company and stated that the client saw a bug. He then proceeded to be extremely aggressive on the phone and called my assistant an i
My company prides its self on a very high level of customer service and we are always willing to go the extra mile for our clients. Unfortunately, With bed bugs on the rise we can not ever guarantee that a client will not ever experience another bed bug problem. we always do our best to give each client as much information as we can to help limit the likelihood of a re infestation.
Currently the national average is one in ten homes are experiencing bed bugs.
Rental properties have additional challenges because of the tenant turnover.
We strongly feel that we have gone above and beyond for this client. We can not be held responsible for a structure that has had a new tenant for six months with no signs of bedbug and now finding a bug.
