BUYER BEWARE!!!! I called them after finding them on Angie's List to schedule my moveI spoke to a very nice female (Angie I believe) she said they were booked on Saturday 7/30/but took my name and number in case they had a cancellationShe was in the process of calling around and confirming appointmentsShe called me back a hour later and said they could move me on the day I wantedShe asked me how I found them and I told her on Angie's ListShe asked me the square footage of the house, how many bedrooms and was it heavily furnishedI told her less than 1700, bedrooms but one room was used for office/craft room and yes it was heavily furnishedShe asked me if I had a spa or piano that needed to be movedI told her noShe asked me if I had any mirrors that went with bedroom suits, any antiques or artI told her I had several large mirrors, but they did not go to bedroom suitsThat I had an antique buffet, headboard and wooden lion that came from a carousal and a couple of art paintings that hung on wallBut that the heaviest items I had were a refrigerator, freezer and washer/dryerShe asked me the address of where it would be movedI told her everything was going to a storage building a couple blocks awayShe said since I am an Angie's List member it would be $per hour instead of $110, plus a $trip fee and a minimum of hours, but that I would have them til the job was finishedI told her good because it will take way longer than hoursShe told me I was scheduled for them to arrive between 8-9am and also said they would call when they were on their wayI told her if everything goes well I would call back to schedule my Daughters move at the end of August On Saturday 7/30/they called around 8:30am and said they were on their wayI thought, Wow so far so goodThe guys arrived around 8:45am and asked me to show them what all would be movedI walked them around to every room and discussed what I wanted to move firstThen I noticed one of the guys walking around taking pictures of things and thought that was strangeThen minutes later the other guy came to me and said that this would be an hour move and that they had another job at 12:00pm, so we would have to reschedule to another day the next week (They do not do moves on Sunday)I told him I could not move to another day because I had to be out before 8/1/I also told him that Angie had told me they would be here til they finishedHe then said the owner would not allow them to move a lot of my items, because if they broke them he could only pay cents per poundI asked him what items because all of these items have been moved before by movers no problemI have never even had one person question moving them nor charge me extra to move themItems: large mirrors, medium mirrors, in flat screen TV, antique lion and art workI told him that I had told Angie about these items and that she never said anything about them not being able to move them nor did she say that there would be an extra charge for themI asked him why they can move heavy objects like refrigerators, washers and dryers that are expensive items, but not mirrors and a wooden lionAlso heavy spas and pianos, although at extra cost, but not mirrors and a wooden lionSeriously!! He said well if they were in a big box they could move them, because it would protect them from breakingWhat???!!! A mirror can still break in a box and it makes it more awkward to carry, hence more chance of dropping and breakingI told him this was ridiculous and I have never had anyone refuse to move these items beforeAnd if this was their policy, then they should be going to look at what they are moving before booking movesHe told me I was welcome to call the officeHe gave me the number and when I called a man answered without identifying the businessI asked if this was Extreme Movers and he rudely said "YesWhat do you want?"I told him I was told to call the officeOnce again he rudely said "Well I don't know why they would tell you that."At that point I was upset and starting to cry so I handed the phone to my ex Husband, whom had stopped by to trim bushes (nice I know)He told him the same thing these guys had told me, that they would not move these itemsHe said they would move what they could in the minimum hour time frame (remember I was told a hour minimum), but would not be able to stay til we were finishedWhen I told the guys to go ahead and do the hrs they were pissedI got the feeling they did not want to do the moveThat they had just said all that stuff to get out of doing it and hoped I would reschedule for another dayMind you the not being able to move some items did not come up til after I said I could not move to another dayNow I even question if I actually called the office and if that was really the owner The guys loaded the truck once, then unloaded and brought me the billInstead of being $total (80x3=240+trip fee=$280) they charged me $for hrs +$trip fee= $When I questioned him about it and told him what Angie had quoted me, he said well you can call the office againI told him no, that I have had enough and to just go and handed him the money without a tipIt was now 12:00pm and my house was still full of stuffSo instead of spending the rest of the day moving, I spent it trying to find a UhaulI finally found one for the next day miles away that was only 17ft longI then had to call my Son who lives in Chicago to ask him to drive down all night to Keller (14hrs with no stops) to help me moveNeedless to say by the time he got there and we pickup the truck (with only a ft truck and the of us who are not professional movers) we ran over by two days moving and another day to cleanWhich cost me more moneyThe cost for gas, truck, extra rent and the $I paid Extreme Movers, cost me more than a or Hr move with movers @ $would have cost meNot to mention the money my son had to spend to come down and help meNeedless to say I did not call them for my Daughters move in DallasI will NOT ever use them again and would NOT recommend anyone use them! Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with such an unprofessional company FYI Extreme Movers when people are moving from a home they are on a deadline and can not move to another dayMaybe your policy should be to go out and look at what you have to move before scheduling a moveEspecially if you are planning to do more than one move a day per truckAfter this happened I looked your company up on Revdex.comSeems you do this often (scheduling more than one move) and leave people waiting all day, because you don't know how long the move will takeI also saw where you have complaints about damage to items, so I am thankful you did not move all my itemsBut it still does not help with the stress and cost I incurred

I thought twice about using these guys after reading the reviews on here, then I looked up other movers and I saw that pretty much most movers had a few bad reviews under their namesSince Extreme Movers was highly recommended to me, I gave them a call and spoke to [redacted] who was very niceI explained to her how I was leery about calling after reading some bad reviews on Revdex.comShe explained that although they did have a few unhappy customers in the past- I was more than welcome to check with TxDMV and see that they didn't have any violations with the StateShe provided me with names and contact info for past customers as references, along with the phone number to check with TxDMVShe was very helpfulAfter verifying with references and checking with TxDMV, I called back and booked my move with Extreme Movers The two gentleman that showed up were very nice and did a walk through with me explaining the contract and how the move was going to take placeI watched these guys work non-stop as they loaded my bedroom house, padding and stretch wrapping all my belongings prior to loading in their truckOnce we arrived at my new house, I offered to buy the guys lunch since I hadn't seem them take a break at all since starting my moveAfter lunch, the guys worked diligently to get my job doneIt took the guys hours to handle my move which I was impressed with considering that the previous movers I used took a little over hours to move the same household items into the home Extreme Movers moved me out ofMy experience from start to finish with Extreme Movers was a pleasant and stress-free experience and will definitely be recommending them to friends and family as the need for a mover arises

I used Extreme Movers for packing, and storing my household goods while I was deployed to the Middle EastWhile gone, I tried to reach out to them to discuss and make arrangements of my goods when my parents arrived and then again upon my return homeI sent multiple emails, left voicemails and called at different times and never receive an acknowledgment or communication back from this businessThen they finally answered and Rick made tons of excuses and no solution telling me the wrong day they had me on the schedule and he would see if Michael the owner would call me backRick has the worst attitude and if you don’t kiss his butt he won’t work with you on arrangements with your stuffGo to a big corporations as I went to small business thinking it would be a smoother process but Extreme Moveds made it extremely difficultDon’t waste your time

just used these guys for my move this past weekend and they did a great jobAngie was very helpful when I called to schedule my move and the crew they sent out did an AWESOME job! They handled all my items carefully yet completed my job within hours! (I moved from a bedroom apartment on the first floor to a bedroom apartment on the second floor) I will definitely use Extreme Movers again!

These guys did a GREAT JOB! They were on time and very friendlyNo damages and one of the guys even found $I must have lost a while back under a nightstandThat goes a long way with me because he could have kept it and I would have never knownI will definitely be using them again once my house is completethanks a lot Extreme Movers

Just wanted to say that these guys are really great at doing what they doThey gave me a quote for my move when they did the in-home walk through and I ended up paying less then what I was quotedI will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends if and when they need a good moving companyBig thanks to Justin, Richard & Omar for a job well done!

WORST COMPANY EVERTHEY WILL NOT SHOW UP IF YOU SCHEDULE WITH THEMI confirmed my move with them at least times, and the day of my moveThey kept me waiting hours past my scheduled time only to tell me that they couldn't come due to another jobThis company does not care about it's customersIf you want your movers to show up I suggest going with any other company insteadI will be doing everything I can to get this company off of Angie's list

Please take notice to the negative reviews of this companyNot all of them are just angry rantsDo not waste your time booking this moving companyTHEY WILL NOT SHOW UP! I booked my move days in advanceI received a quote on thumbtack, called the number two times with no answerI sent a message through thumbtack and finally received a response that someone would call meI finally received a call and, against my better judgement and doubts in my head from the reviews on yelp and the Revdex.com, I booked my move and confirmed my appointment for an 8am to 9am arrival time Here I am sitting in my storage unit with no moversI called hours before my move, no responseI called at 840am no responseI called at 910am and finally got an answer"Oh we show that we called you back and you told us you hired someone else"After I told them that is wasn't true I never hired anyone else, I received a rude "well we record every phone call"I asked her to please go listen to the phone call then because your scheduler or office manager made a mistakeShe then placed me on hold for mins, never returnedI hung up and called backNo responseSo now I'm forced to find another more reliable mover last minute due to this companies unbelievable incompetencePLEASE, learn from my mistake, trust that voice in the back of your head and DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.
Extreme movers did over $400 damage to our property and residence. Even if they go strictly by their weight policy they would owe us no less than $400. Their measly offer of $200 does not even cover half of the damage that their movers caused! Their supposed attempt to resolve this matter is nothing short of a lie. Within the 90 days Extreme Movers would not return emails and phone calls to resolve this issue. Which TXDOT determined was a DIRECT violation of their policy. At this time if Extreme Movers does not pay for the damage caused we will be seeking out legal counsel. This has gone on for far too long!
