Good evening [redacted],   Please be advised of the following with regard to Complaint # [redacted], which [redacted] has lodged against my company, Extreme Realty Advance.   I engaged the services of [redacted] to assist me at coordinating an event to be held on December *, 2015, which was to feature performances by several local musicians. Although the event was to be held in New York, [redacted] is located in Florida and assured me she could coordinate and schedule all parts of the event remotely without ever visiting the venue. [redacted]'s management of the event was completely unsatisfactory and incompetent, which resulted in the entire show being a complete financial failure. [redacted] did not coordinate flights/travel properly for the musicians, or book the correct times and dates for hotel accommodations. Several of the performers did not arrive on time to the venue. None of the social media promotional materials [redacted] agreed to were ever published online. I consider [redacted]'s performance and work ethics to be entirely substandard. We engaged her services to generate income for our company, and instead we realized a complete loss.   I am also disturbed and appalled that [redacted] has lodged this complaint against my real estate brokerage business, which has absolutely nothing to do with the event I engaged her services for. The name of the entity by whom she was engaged was DVM Second Chance LLC, not Extreme Realty Advance.   Thank you, Marcia C[redacted]

Review: This company (Extreme Realty Advance) is very unprofessional. I went into their office for assistance to find an apartment, I paid them $50 for a service and credit check fee. The company did not check my credit because I gave them a copy of my credit report from my very own [redacted] account. They also had an unlicensed person (acting as an agent) showing me two apartments which I fell in love with one. Went back to the office and ready to start the leasing process, she called the superintendent to find out who to contact for leasing (she didn't even know) the company then asked me to make a deposit of first months rent, which is $1075, to secure the apartment (that they have ownership of). Then she submitted my application to the leasing office late, which the apartment got rented and she didn't even bother to contact the management office to find out, I did found out and told her. Then I requested my deposit back and the [redacted] "[redacted]) is only willing to give me $900 back. She's claiming that I'm backing out and I should pay them $150 for their service and time. which they are taking a total of $175. Not to mention the [redacted] is never available to speak to me, her husband didn't know how to handle the situation and kept telling me to wait for his wife.Desired Settlement: I would like a total of $1125. because the company had an unlicensed and unknowledgeable person working with me. They waited to submit my application which got rented because of their lack of professionalism and lack of urgency. The [redacted] Never showed up when I requested to speak to her.

Response:

We maintain that our office staff consistently displayed a professional, courteous demeanor toward [redacted], and provided her with the highest quality customer service, despite the complaint she has lodged against us. [redacted]'s statement that an unlicensed agent accompanied her while she was shown an apartment is completely false, as the unlicensed staff member was a trainee who was at the same time accompanied by a licensed agent. [redacted] also falsely believes that our office did not expedite her rental application to the Landlord/[redacted] of the building for which she was applying, which is also completely untrue, as our agent submitted her application by fax within 24 hours of [redacted]'s leaving a deposit. The Landlord/[redacted] did not grant our office an exclusive right to rent the unit, and instead considered applications from multiple prospective tenants as well as multiple brokers. The Landlord/[redacted]'s decision to consider other applications and accept a more qualified tenant was beyond our control. Due to [redacted]'s disappointment at her application being rejected by the Landlord/[redacted], [redacted] decided to maliciously file this complaint against our company, in spite of our efforts to locate a different rental for her in another property. The initial $50.00 application fee was paid directly to the Landlord/[redacted], as the Landlord/[redacted] does not permit prospective tenants to supply their own credit reports. Although [redacted] signed a retainer agreement, under which she agreed to pay our office a minimum of $150.00 for services rendered, we retained only $75.00 of [redacted]'s deposit, which we believe is far less than the amount of compensation earned by our office due to the great deal of time, paperwork and effort we invested in this client.
