September 20, 2015I received notice of a complaint assigned the above ID.[redacted]'s [redacted] was reposed by my company on August 22, 2015, [redacted] made arrangements with her financial institution to care for her outstanding balance on or about Friday, September 4, 2015.Once I...

received a call from [redacted], explained to her that appointments to retrieve vehicles and personal property are scheduled once confirmation and a release from her finance Institution is received by my office. further explained that our business hours are Monday-Friday from 9am until 4pm. I did not receive [redacted]'s release until after office hours on Friday.I received another call from [redacted] asking if she can retrieve her vehicle over the weekend. I explained to her again, that that the office ls closed and she will need to scheduled her pickup for Tuesday, September 8th considering Monday, September 7th was an observed holiday for our employees. Our storage lot is located separate from our business office. It is a secured unmanned lot. This is why all appointments must be scheduled with the office. Customers can not automatically drive to this storage lot and expect to be serviced. This information was explained to [redacted] not only by myself but by her financial institution several times. On September 8th, attempted to release [redacted]'s vehicle to her. She was extremely irate and verbally confrontational. She and her passenger began to threaten me, use profanity and address me using derogatory names. Immediately stopped the release, preceded to the security of my vehicle, lock my doors and proceeded to calling the Charles County Police Department.Once was inside my car, [redacted] and her passenger, aggressively blocked my car, threw a lit cigarette at me and would not allow my car to move. I stayed on the phone with the Charles County Police dispatch so that they could witness all that was happening. The police finally arrived, verified that I was okay, and offered to assist me with the release of [redacted]'s vehicle. The Police further asked if I wanted to press charges against [redacted]'s passenger for the assault of the thrown cigarette. I declined, since the cigarette missed me.Unfortunately, repossessions are never fun and the Debtors are almost always irate and hateful towards the Repossession Company, In this case myself. The comments [redacted] represented in her complaint are false. I never spoke in a negative tone with her. I was Couple of minutes past her appointment time, but I called to one of my tow truck drivers that happened to be there and explained to him that I was stopped by a train crossing the railroad track and to please let the debtor know. I am always sympathetic to the unfortunate events that force me to meet half of the people that come into contact with and I would never try and make matters worse for them.I hope that my explanation of the unfortunate encounter between myself and [redacted] better explains what transpired on this day.If any additional information is needed, please feel free to contact me at [redacted],Best Regards,Darcia P.
