Jorge from Extreme Towing showed up at 9:00 p.m. to rescue our vehicle that my son had perched on a low rock wall. He went above and beyond in protecting the vehicle, carefully moving rocks so that vehicle would not be damaged. Two other tow companies had come and gone without retrieving the vehicle. Extreme Towing and Jorge are the best!

Review: On 2/8/2015 I called Extreme Towing to extract my 34 foot Class A motor home out of the mud in the front lot of my property. [redacted] arrived with it seemed large enough truck #10 to complete the winching of the RV out of the mud. After an 1.5 hours the RV was deeper in the mud and [redacted] wanted to call out another truck. I told him no that the way that he was pulling my RV was not working and suggested a dryer day. He agreed and left. I was changed with $262.50 for experience. I believe when I called the office that I gave the correct information about the size and class of RV, (34 foot Class A Motorhome) for Extreme Towing to bring the correct equipment and complete the job as requested. I then called out another towing company in the area and they pulled out my RV successfully within an hour of arrival. I called the Extreme Towing office and requested a refund but they charged me the full amount. Please help me with this request and post so that others will not be caught up in this Towing company false advertising!Desired Settlement: After talking to the Manager he told me he would at least take off $100 off the cost of the charges, not done. I was charged the total amount. I would like a full refund because they knew ahead of time the size and type of vehicle and did not complete the work as offered when the order was taken.

Response:

On 2/08/2015 Extreme Towing received a call to winch a motor home out of the mud that was supposedly just off the driveway. It was pouring rain that day and could imagine it was very wet and muddy. Extreme towing responded in its medium duty wrecker that weighs about 22000 lbs. Upon arrival we observed all tires of motor home were off the roadway and sunk in the mud. We attempted to dig out the mud from around the tires and then try to recover the motor home but being very careful of the driveway we were unable to stabilize our truck with the down riggers. After about 1 hour of digging and pulling on the motor home in the pouring rain we had a brief conversation with the customer both parties decided to postpone the recovery until the customer returned from his 1 week vacation. We explained to the customer that we would charge the fees for the time spent as agreed today and then when he returns we would not charge the time to return to the scene when he returns. The customer agreed and the driver returned to the shop.About a week or so later (2/20/2015) Extreme Towing called the customer to see if he was ready to get the motor home unstuck. The customer told Extreme Towing that he had already called someone else for the service and it was out. Extreme Towing that he had already called someone else for the service and it was out. Extreme Towing explained to the customer that they would discount the bill for the service provided on the 8th even though the customer didn't call back as agreed to complete the service. Extreme Towing asked for the credit card number and refunded the car 175.00 for customer satisfaction (see return receipt) The customer expressed his gratitude for the refund and really had no explanation as to why he called another company for the service. At this point Extreme Towing has gone out of their way to provide great customer service and even though the customer had agreed to pay for the entire services rendered on the 8th and didn't call Extreme Towing back to complete the service in different weather conditions as agreed gave a 175.00 customer satisfaction refund.
