Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have documents regarding my complaint, I am not able to scan and will need to mail to you regarding this complaint I have read his response and do not agree with it my documentation will show what really happened I did not know what the codes were so why would I go and say I need a catalytic converter, I am no mechanic ," what are the codes and how do I get a re-inspection sticker" is my statement Regards, [redacted] ***
[redacted] came in for repairs and asked how much a catalytic converter would be so she could get her car re-inspectedI told her we would check for OBD II codesThe vehicle had three codes PO 420, PO 171, PO I gave her the price for the catalytic converter and also told her she may need O sensors and this would be an additional costShe said to install the catalytic converterIt was installed, road tested and code Pand Pshowed up on the scanner while road testingI told her the car had four sensors that cost $eachShe said she did not have the moneyI told her to pay for the cost which was $I would install one sensor at my cost of $to her and road test the car to see if it would "get ready" to passIt did not passShe said she would bring car back next week she had had the money for other sensors
