On October 15, 2019 I purchased an *** charger cord at Exxon. The first time I used it, it broke the next morning when I removed the cord from my phone's charging port. That evening, October 16, I went to Exxon to exchange the defective cord for a new one. The clerk said he wasn't authorized to do exchanges and to come during daytime hours and speak with the owner. On October 17 I went to speak to the owner. He refused to give me an exchange. He said it was my fault the cord broke because I didn't remove it correctly from the phone. He is absolutely wrong about this and has no basis for such an accusation. The store sold me a defective product and should exchange it or refund my money.

I am rejecting the response because it is not true that I ever demanded a refund. All I ever wanted was an exchange, which was refused. However, a week later when I went to the place, they offered me the exchange. I am sure this is because Revdex.com had contacted them. Anyhow, the exchange was done so my complaint is resolved. However, they lied about me and that's why I am rejecting their response. No further action is required, though an apology would be nice.
