I never signed anything that is a complete lie There was white spots in the right lenses and left lensesI do not need to lieNo one will tell me I that I buyers remorse hostilityI wanted those glasses but if this how they are going to respond and not take any remorse for what happened to meThen they do need my business from me my family or any of friends in ColumbusIts sad that they are willing to give me my full refund once the Revdex.com got involvedIts a shame that errors was made, where I can get a in a car accidentIts a shame that the Marissa is even a manager thereI sent all my documents to the Revdex.com and NOTHING at all was signed about custom made lensesThey should not be in business if they are going to lie like thatPlease Revdex.com check all my documents I sent youSo sad that they lied.SO SAD

Eyeglasses lenses are customized medical devices ordered for patients based on their specific prescriptions The more minus (-) a patient's prescription, the thicker the lenses will be on the edges The more (+) prescription, the thicker the lenses will be in the center of the lens
This is non-controllable It is only based on the patient's prescription There are certain materials we can use that can help A "hi-index" plastic will be less thick than a "standard" plastic in the same prescription This patient's insurance company does no offer any changes in the lens material They only offer the basic, standard plastic which would result in a much thicker lens.When the patient was unhappy with the thickness, we actually still had the original standard plastic lens to compare the two The new lens was much thinner than the one covered by her insurance company She was still unhappy with the thickness We explained to her that we cannot control that, and neither can the lab That is due to the prescription in her eyes.The additional charges she mentioned was that she refused the "no-glare" coating on the lenses Therefore, the lenses were made and had a lot of reflections on them We offered to re-make the lenses with the "no-glare" coating, but that would be an additional chargeHer insurance, again, does not offer any benefits to any of these necessary items, therefore she must pay for these custom made devices.We have gone above and beyond for this patient I believe she is more upset that her insurance company doesn't offer benefits for the type of lenses she clearly needs My team provided excellent service and went to great lengths to try to make her happy We are a locally-owned, independent practice that provides high quality optical goods A level of quality that's above most chains and corporate optical companiesWe are being treated unfairly as we are trying to offer the best for this patient, and because her insurance company refuses to help her We are one of the few practices that accept her insurance, and are only wanting to be here to help these patients out Please let me know if you need anything else.Best,Craig M***, OD

The patient refused the glasses claiming a defect and an error in the fabricationNeither the lab that made the lenses or two state licensed opticians were able to find any errors in the lenses The patient did not want to try to make it better We feel this was a case of buyers remorse
in her hostility over the situation.The patient signed a return policy that acknowledged and understood that the lenses are custom made medical devices and are not subject to full refund.Regardless, we gave the patient a full refund anyway

I NEVER WANTED MY INSURANCE TO PAY FOR THE THINNESS, I was completely aware of the price and therefore paid with my CREDIT CARD---So being unhappy with my insurance company is ANOTHER LIE-----THE REP WHO HELPED ME stated the glasses would be thin and I would be very happy with them-----and that was FAR FROM THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!! She DELIBERATELY gave me false information, I guess just to make a commission.  I WANT A REFUND. This office is a JOKE and they care NOTHING ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, ONLY ABOUT MAKING A BUCK. They NEVER WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND for me, ANOTHER LIE. The rep only belittled with me and said to make the glasses thin, I would need to get something that cost additional money---------WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL ME THIS BEFORE I PAID FOR THE FIRST FEATURE????? I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS money hungry BUSINESS again---I went to [redacted] on [redacted] and they treat you like an eye place should treat you, I ordered a pair a glasses with thinness and they are PERFECT!!!!!!!!!  I WANT a REFUND, AS any legitimate business would do if they screw up and or give false information to customers!!!!

I wanted those glasses but if this how they are going to respond and not take any remorse for what happened to me. Then they do need my business from me my family or any of friends in Columbus. Its sad that they are willing to give me my full refund once the Revdex.com got involved. Its a shame that 2 errors was made,  where  I can get a in a car accident. Its a shame that the Marissa is even a manager there. I  sent all my documents to the Revdex.com and NOTHING at all was signed about custom made lenses. They should not be in business if they are going to lie like that. Please Revdex.com check all my documents I sent you. So sad that they lied.SO SAD
