I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
We are talking about equipment which is not working so what good is the equipment After visits to my home for repairs, it still is not working at all Please come get your equipment, I will gladly give it back and you can then refund me in full for installation and services charges for equipment and service that never operated The fact that I have to continue having the same conversation with a company about a system they admit does not work and I know because their employee told me so is an embarrassment Eye on Alarm is a scam and I have submitted all of this info to *** *** along with the attorney general Please look at the reviews online about the company and explain to me how the leadership of this company sleeps at night It's very disappointing that companies like this one remain ripping people off and I will do everything in my power to make the public aware of how they conduct business

The equipment installed is not in working order Eye on Alarm's technician told me it wasn't working In fact the technician said he had to come back to complete the work and never did This is the same thing the initial installer told us as well and never came or called back The technician from *** also told us the equipment is not working The alarm has been set off on occasions, there is no siren and we never received any calls from anyone where as we should have received a call and/or a police response if the alarm was in working order *** is coming to my home tomorrow to discuss installing a new system because they told me the system was not working and it needed to be reinstalled correctly They also told me to contact Eye on Alarm for my refund which was due Why would the service provider make arrangements to come to my home and install a new system, if I already had a working system and by the way I have all the communication in writing in several emails from *** Refund me immediately or I will dispute the charges and you can come and collect the system which is not working in my home and refund me my service charges which has been taking way too long as well Eye on Alarm of NY is ripping people off and I will be notifying every authority available and providing my story completely

Tell us why here...this customer has been released of her contract to [redacted] and reimburse for her monitoring/services. However we can not reimburse her for equipment that was installed. [redacted] made attempts to resolve this issue with new extra equipment and reimbursing her for the central station monitoring with free services moving forward. however the customer still says she wants to cancel. so at this time she was released of her opligation to [redacted] but we can not will not receive a refund for equipment that was install and she still has position of.

Review: The company called me to sell me an alarm system. They charged me $99 for the installation. When they came out to my home, they told me that had set everything up but there were 3 windows that the system needed repairs on. The installer told me he would call me back early next week to come back and make the repairs because he didn't have the time then. 3 months I later we call to not only have the job completed while we have been charged roughly $40 per month since and to add a carbon monoxide detector to our system which will also cost $290. I paid via credit card. I get a call from a woman the morning of the appointment asking me to please pay cash instead because they had issues on there accounts. This interaction made me nervous and I refused. They come out to do the work and the installer tells us that not only can he not install the carbon monoxide detector but we have never had a working system because the wiring was never installed initially. We then call the [redacted] themselves. Eye on Alarm is a dealer for [redacted]. [redacted] has a technician come out and they reiterate that we never had a working system. [redacted] is in the process of fixing it directly with me and refunding all the monthly service charges but I demand I receive my installation fees back because the product was never installed in a working order.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $99 and $290 immediately. I will also be disputing this to my credit card that I paid with

Review: I am annoyed that this company placed a telemarketing call on 7/** at 7:30PM in the evening, to my home, attempting to sell me an Alarm System. Clearly - they are in violation of the National Do Not Call law since I have never done business with them, and all my phone numbers are on the National Do Not call Registry.

I have filed a complaint against these people with the National Do Not Call Registry as well, and also will contact NY State Attorney Generals office.Desired Settlement: I want this company to send me a letter apologizing to me for placing a marketing call to me at 7:30 PM, violating the National Do Not Call law, and promising me that they will NEVER contact me again.

The number that they called from was NOT their listed business number of ###-###-####. The call came from ###-###-####. My research found that this number belonged to this company based upon other people that have complained about the same thing as I.

Review: I was given 72 hours to cancel my system, I called to cancel within the time frame. They told me I had to speak with a [redacted] to officially cancel but they would not be in until Monday. I was informed that I did cancel with in the 72 hours and the fact that I had to wait until Monday would not be held against me. The [redacted] called Monday and told me that I did not cancel in time. They have since stopped answering my phone calls. The system has been unplugged and in my home ever since bc they refuse to send someone to pick it up. They have also charged my card although I have made it clear that I cancelled in time.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take the system out of my house and refund me for the month I was wrongfully charged.

[redacted] is not our customer. Her mother [redacted] is our customer. We installed a system for [redacted] in her daughters house on May [redacted]. On May [redacted] after we responded to a service call that [redacted] set up, [redacted] called our office to cancel service. She was told that only the contract signer could cancel and it would have to be in writing. Also a [redacted] would get back to her on Monday. A cancelation was never received by this office. A [redacted] talk to [redacted] on Monday and once again explained that her mother is the contract signer not her and at this point she was past her time to cancel.

We talked to [redacted] and offered to go there check the system have a [redacted] go out and go over the functions of the system make sure the system is working properly but [redacted] said she got this as a house warming gift for her daughter and she just doesn’t want it. I said I'm sorry but you're under contract and we installed a lot of equipment in the house.

The notice of cancelation clearly status " to cancel this transaction mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice or send a telegram to Eye on alarm of NY [redacted]"

as a matter of fact the cancelation form is still not signed.

Review: Eye on Alarm Contacted us using paperwork from 7 yrs ago from when they installed our alarm for Brinks(now ADT)offering us a free upgrade of equipment. They verified our info by naming our Alarm zones and Security password(which they took from the prior paperwork), we thought this was legitimate. Upon further investigation and a call to ADT we found out EOA was no longer an installer for them and they had come in and already removed our ADT equipment and switched our service to [redacted] Security. I then noticed on the Contract which was filled out prior to them coming to our house, an account number which was not given to them. This was a Personal Home Equity Line of Credit which was not given to them or authorized to use. We do not know where they got this number considering the voided check they had requested was from our checking account. They withdrew 1 months service. [redacted] has been accommodating and cancelled our contract upon request of fraudulence on EOA's part and issued us a refund. We called ADT in to reinstall however upon their suggestion we decided to keep the equipment EOA installed "for free" per the contract because it would cost us additional money for them to take EOA's out and reinstall theirs. We have now received a bill for over $1500 from EOA for equipment. I do not feel we are responsible for this bill considering they came into our home fraudulently and destroyed ADT's equipment.Desired Settlement: Bill to be withdrawn, original paperwork to be destroyed and no further contact.

Eye-On Alarm offered to upgrade [redacted] system and add a smoke detector a Carbon monoxide detector and 2 remote key fob plus upgrade there two keypads and control panel. [redacted] agreed to this and gave his information for us to do the installation. Including the line of credit information that he refers to in his complaint. Even though **. [redacted] signed the three year contract with [redacted] security we released him of his agreement. We even allowed him to hold onto the equipment and receive monitoring service until ADT was able to install his new system. All we asked for is the equipment we install back. After **. [redacted] refused to return the equipment he did not purchase we send him a bill for that equipment. this bill did not include labor for installing the equipment just the cost of the parts.
