her. She stated that the frame was not fitting her properly, and wanted to pick a metal frame instead of her original plastic frame choice. The optician advised her that her insurance plan does not allow for frame changes once the glasses have been made, and that we could adjust the glasses to fit her properly. Patient insisted on changing the frame. The optician agreed to make an exception to the policy, and allowed the frame change as a courtesy. The patient was made aware that if she chose a less expensive frame, it is our policy that a refund for the price difference would not be made. There are costs that are incurred in remaking the lenses for a different frame which Eye Physicians Optical would now have to incur. The patient understood this, and was accepting of the policy, and requested we move forward with her frame choice which was in fact less expensive.At pick up of the new glasses, the patient stated she changed her mind on accepting the frame change policy, and that she wanted a refund of the cost difference. She was reminded of the policy which she had originally been made aware of and had originally been accepting of. The optician told her she would make some phone calls to so see if something could be done, and would notify the patient if there was something else that could be done. The optician did not call the patient back immediately, nor did the patient reach back out to the office with any further questions or concerns.The patient filed a complaint with Revdex.com requesting a refund of $110 the difference between the original and new frame. The cost of her original frame was $309, the patient, after insurance discount, actually paid out of pocket $106 for the frame. The cost difference, after insurance discount, for the new frame chosen is $73.34. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I must note that their report was not accurate.  The technician recommended that I pick metal frames because she could not adjust them properly.  At that time, nothing was said about cost, since it was all their fault.  Also, I asked the manager 2 times about it, and she said she would call me the following day after looking into the matter.  She never called.  In spite of this, I will accept their refund.
