Review: I was charged $850 for an eye exam and glasses, I was told I would be paying after I receive the glasses and I am happy with them, I was encouraged to open a CareCard at the time because the amount will be paid in full. I agreed to opening the card. I find out two weeks later that a credit card has been charged prior to me receiving the glassest. My boyfriend had signed on the order but NOT a credit card application and/or transaction. The glasses turned out horrible; lenses popping out of the frame, wrong prescription in the glasses- once lens is thicker than the other although my vision is EXACTLY the same in both eyes. I informed them that I did not want the glasses and they offered to fix them, I waited another week and went in to try them on again and still they are horrible. I again informed them that I no longer want the glasses and am not willing to wait another week after 2 weeks without glasses. I was than informed that the glasses are non refundable. I informed the sales lady/ owner Suzan that I was not aware that I was ever charged for the glasses and that she originally told both my boyfriend and I that we are just applying for the card now and will be paying once the glasses are received and we are happy with them. She became defensive and said there are no refunds. I left both glasses at the store and left.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $850 for my glasses, they are of no use to me since I cannot see out of them, I should not be penalized for sloppy lab work and fraudulent activities committed by the owner.
