Equipment break downs abounded when we moved infireplace is totally inoperable, but they used it as a major selling point where we toured the apartmentThere are dogs everywhere and the dogs dump all over the placeThe dog owners don't clean up and it takes me complaining to the manager before it gets cleaned upThe dumpster is right in front and garbage piles high over the weekends; disgusting to say the least
The gym (which is sparse) is hot in the summer that workouts can be dangerous! The AC has been broken since 6-07-and on 6-15-it must have degrees in there; unbearable
The gates breakdown often and are never fully closed so if you are looking for a secure complex this is not it
On a high note, the maintenance team are all nice and professional
Lastly they jacked our rent by over 15% after the first year if we could have afforded to move on days notice we would haveWe are currently saving for a move

My carpet was old from a flood above they pieced it back with a different color carpet, that did match at allToilet has been broken for a week now Finally spoke with Rhonda manager and Marie(Horrible management team) said oh I am sorry this is my fault , I let the ball downWORST STAFF and RUN ,RUN ,RUN, Horrible place to live
Upon moving into Lincoln on the Green, my husband and I were told that several maintenance problems would be resolved before the actual move in date After letting them know that the problems in the apartment had not been resolved, within a couple weeks one issue got taken care of Another took a couple months to resolve and the others never got fixedNot a big deal and would not warrant a bad review of the property However, after a year of paying our rent faithfully and on time, they attempted to charge us an extra months rent for not giving them proper notice that we would be moving out at the end of our lease This is after my husband spoke with them in January about our moving out in April We gave them our move out date and even went into the office to confirm it the day of the move After moving our things out, we returned the keys to the officeNo post move out inspection was done or mentioned, which I did not think anything about until they claimed we had left holes in the counter that would cost us almost $to repair After my husband explained to them that we did own a power drill nor a hammer and nails, he requested pictures of these so-called holes Two weeks went by and no pictures were sent but rather a notice saying that our bill would be going to collections if we did not pay it He again requested pictures of the holes that we knew were not there and after more days had still received nothing I called the office and told them our situation and that we had yet to receive proof of the damages they claimed we made but had receive several notifications about the bill After my husband sent them an email stating that was contacting the Revdex.com, we finally received a call letting us know that they was no evidence of the damage for which we were being charged They promptly sent us a refund of our deposit that they had held from us on top of the charges that had been falsely made I know clerical errors happen but the way this company handled our situation was completely deceitful and crooked It took bringing up the Revdex.com to make them do their job correctly and somewhat professionally After reading others reviews and complaints about this company and property I see that this is a common occurrence for them and I STRONGLY discouraged anyone from signing a lease with this company
MAA a publicly traded company focused on pleasing investors over the actual customer baseTerrible management and the bigger they grow the more meaningless customer service becomes.If you do actually go to the headquarters you'll be asked to leave before you can complainNever rent from this company of greedy incompetent ***
Horrible parking, I was living here for a year and management changed three times. They allowed me to move in with dead insects in my kitchen mold in the bathroom and dirty carpet. I called and they came out to fix it after already being a resident. Me and my mom recieved 3 parking tickets reaching $1500 due to NO PARKING, not to mention I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. After moving out they gave me a $1100 bill for carpet damages that was already an issue once moving in!! The walls are paper thin, and a leak came in our house from a neighbor. Horrible dont waste your money!
Don't waste your time trying to move in the complex Lincoln on the Green at Southwind. They are very unprofessional, rude and only care about the outside of the community. They will quote you different rates when you move in. The inside of the apartment are not liveable. They wont fix anything in your apartment and no one ever Knows what's going on. A big waste of apartment space. They need to be shut down for the way they treat people. So save your money and go elsewhere.
