Hi ***,I am sorry for the confusion that you are having regarding the contact lens exam, evaluation and pricing It is a very standard practice to charge the contact lens evaluation on top of the regular eyeglass exam and that entitles you to the trial contact which you should try for a week
or so then follfor your contact lens check to ensure that the contacts are right for your eyes prior to purchasing a supply of them You paid $for the eye exam and $for the contact lens evaluation (a total of $145.) We are very competitive with our pricing and once the contact lens evaluation is completed you will receive a copy of your contact lens prescription which you are welcome to take anywhere to purchase lenses There has never been any bundled pricing for contacts along with the exam because there are so many contacts with different pricesYou were given two different brands of contact trials at your exam to try and then you were to follwith us so that we can make sure that you get the lenses that are best for you We strive to maintain an open, honest and positive relationship with all our patients and it is disappointing when reviews are left calling our reviews "fake", our business "a joke" and our staff "a bunch of is." We would love to resolve this amicably if possible There are no other fees required for your follvisit and at after that you are certainly free to take your prescriptions and business elsewhere

This is not what I was told when I made my appointment and then also when I called a couple days after my appointment. When I called to get a breakdown of my $150 payment, I was told to wait until the following Monday or Tuesday for a call to let me know that my contacts are in. I waited that whole week and received no phone call, so I called the business the following Saturday and then they kept denying what they had told me Those two times I was confirming what I would be paying for.

And no, the pricing is not competitive. Costco charges $105 for an exam and $100 for a year supply of contacts. Eyecon would be charging double that if I were to get the full years worth of contacts

I am sorry there was so much confusion regarding your exam.  We would certainly have options for cheaper contact lenses as well (although they are not as comfortable, breathable or recommended as the trials you were given) but the exam has been $95 and the contact lens evaluation/fitting has been $50 for years now.  Compared with other private practices we are much less expensive, but you can always find cheaper places like Costco, Walmart, or America's Best.  So even though you were already given two different pairs of trial contact lenses, if you prefer to go somewhere else we would gladly refund you the $50 contact lens evaluation fee and you already have the glasses prescription from the exam that was preformed at your initial visit. Hopefully this will be acceptable to you since services were already rendered.  Please let us know what you would like to do.  Thank you.
