Dr. George Semich
I have been using this company for over 17yrs and have always had excellent service from ***, She without a doubt the most professional, knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient individual eyewear specialist I have ever met
OK the bad stuff, Unfortunately, she retired from the company and turned it over to her daughter, and the company took a nose dive Thankfully *** came back to the company and straightened things out! The company is now on the fast track back to being the outstanding, efficient company that it used to be I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE!!!
Review: On August **, 2013, while visiting NY, I inquired with a team member [redacted] via phone about my options of purchasing frames and shipping to my home address IN GA. The next day I went in-person to the Eyeglass Factory Outlet located at [redacted] to purchase a pair of prescription glasses/frames. I also needed to have my eyes rechecked, but a staff there informed me that the Doctor was not on site that day for eye exam. Nevertheless, being advised that I could fax in my prescription or call it over the phone, I picked out and purchased a set of black frames costing $59.99 paid by my Visa Card. During the initial conversation with [redacted], I advised that I live out of state and that I would like to have the prescription frames mailed to my home address in [redacted] when they are ready. He confirmed it would be okay and cost $15.00. On September [redacted] I received an eye exam at Vision Works at the [redacted] in [redacted]. Then I contacted the Eyeglass Outlet and spoke with a female via phone to provide my ** address and prescription number, and to paid the $15.00. The lady said that as soon as the glasses were ready, she would call me and have it mailed. After two weeks, I received no phone call. So I followed up again and was told that the glasses came but had to be sent back due to damage. Then I spoke to someone else who informed me that the glasses were shipped to an incorrect address and that they were waiting for a reorder.
Today I contacted the Factory Eyeglass again, and they didn't have their stuff together telling me stories after I paid all my monies. I requested to speak with [redacted] and she was uncooperative in assisting and hung up the phone. She left me angry because I paid for services that I have never received. I paid for the frames $59.00 and I paid $15.00 for them to mail. They are unprofessional, do not work together as a team to know whats going on, when notes were supposed to be on my account, and they failed to deliver a service. I am writing this because they failed to give me any answers or response to my situation. I still have yet to get the glasses.Desired Settlement: I request the following:
1. My black prescription frames order shipped to me ** Express Mail or ASAP to [redacted]
2. My $15.00 delivery fee amount refunded back to my Visa Card because I paid for delivery and they delivered to the wrong place
3. An apology from [redacted] for hanging up and acting unprofessional
