Eyeglass Factory

I am a repeat customer of the Ventura Eyeglass Factory. Even so, I am a bit perturbed with my most recent visit for new glasses (Order 184158). Service was a bit slow, but only because there were more customers than techs - understandable. The person who helped me was obviously new, but an experienced person was nearby to assist as needed. In the interim, as suggested, I found the frames that I wanted. I ordered two pair: one clear and the other sunglasses - same frames for both. After discounts, the price was reasonable and I was 'satisfied'. I was told I could pick up my glasses later that day. No one called, so I went in the next day (Friday). My glasses were ready, except, they weren't. :( I tired on the clear glasses and had several adjustments for fit - all good. Then the new person handed me the sunglasses ... WRONG frame - not even close! Yet, the attitude was - ~'Oh. Interesting. Lets see how they fit.'~ WHAT?!?! I have no idea what the tech was thinking, but accepting these was NOT an option for ME. The tech made a call to someone, and explained to me that someone would pick up a pair of the correct frames from Simi Valley (Eyeglass Factory does NOT have a store in Simi - maybe they meant Camarillo) and they should be in by Monday. No call Monday. No call Tuesday, so Tuesday afternoon I went back to the store to see what was going on. No one knows. Can't find the frames and the 'courier' from Santa Barbara has come and gone and no frames delivered. I am NO LONGER a Satisfied Customer, but a perturbed and DISsatisfied Customer. I visited the EF website. No way to leave comments or feedback or contact other than a phone number (I couldn't see how calling would be any more effective than being there in person). So - this entry. And, I'll make a YELP entry - maybe someone will call me and get this straightened out.
