All of the sunglasses for sale at [redacted] are authentic, and we are proud to be an authorized dealer of Ray-Ban. It seems the complainant believed that since the product she received was manufactured in China, they were counterfeit. However, this is untrue. While Ray-Ban continues to...

manufacture most of their product in Italy, they have started to manufacture certain styles in China. For more information regarding the country of origin for each style please feel free to contact the manufacturer directly who will confirm this. As for our personal correspondence with the complainant, we were happy to accept the return for a full refund, which has since been issued and hope that we have resolved the problem. Too long to ship. Doesn't ship within stated 5-7 days. Does not respond to emails. Does not answer phones during working hours. Does not answer "live" chat during stated working hours. Charged credit card after telling them to cancel order and still haven't shipped it or responded to anything. disgusting way to do business.

Review: For the second time request a product, they do not have and continues to be promoted in your page. The first time the order was made ??on October **, October **, I was told it would take two weeks. Wait two weeks and they said they did not have it. I had to cancel the order because they had the product. The October ** has turned ** effect October ** and said I should wait a week.Desired Settlement: Because the product is promoting continuous

Response:

Customer is upset regarding 2 orders she placed with us for a pair of Costa Del Mar "South Point" sunglasses, which were not in-stock at the time her orders were placed. She placed the first order on 10/** and we notified her within 1 business day that the style was not in-stock and would take a few weeks to arrive. She chose to keep it open and wait but then canceled the order on 10/** when it did not arrive in the 3 week period.

She placed her 2nd order on 10/**. We then discovered that the style was on a back order delay with the manufacturer until January/2014 and we notified her as soon we received that update, which was within 1 week from 10/**.

The customer was never charged for either order as we do not bill unless an order ships but she is upset because the style was made available to order. We find that the majority of customers are willing to wait once notified that a style is out of stock and that is why listed the style in question as available to sell. We regret this was a disappointing experience and subsequently offered the customer a significant discount (on already discounted sunglasses) with free Next Day Air shipping on her next order.

We regret the customer is dissatisfied with the response - we have found that many customers want to wait and if we do not offer the product, whether in or out of stock, then the customer will not have a chance to order from us. We recognize this practice is not satisfactory to everyone and regret any suffering caused by the delay of sunglasses. We hope the customer was able to find the desired sunglasses elsewhere in a timely fashion. And we hope everyone in the world finds what they are looking for as fast as possible. May all attain enlightenment.
