can not get use to the Progressive lens they will switch them into another type of abifocal or reading or distance lenses for no charge. This was said to her at the time as we tell everypatient that requires progressive lenses. At no point did anyone or anybody say that she would berefunded any difference in price. If [redacted] was concerned about needing a refund it clearly states onher receipt on the bottom about manufacturers policies any questions she might have to askWe sell1000s of progressive lenses, this is the first time that someone was confused and thought they begetting back a refund. Sorry any inconvenience this has caused but we are just following themanufacturer warranty on all progressive lenses

Review: On 10/6/14, I purchased [redacted] pro tri lenses and new frames. I picked up the glasses on 10/16 and immediately advised the staff that my vision was blurry. I was told that the Doctor needed to re-examine my eyes and I had to wait another week to see him which was scheduled for 10/22 (I now know that was so my 30 days would run out). The doctor told me my prescription for the glasses was fine. He spent a few minutes with me on how to use the glasses as my vision was still blurry. I took them home and after another week, I returned them as I couldn't read the computer screens at work & almost got into 2 car accidents wearing the glasses. The [redacted] lenses were removed & replaced with regular reading lenses. I picked up the glasses & could actually read without blurriness. I then stopped in & asked to be refunded for NOT being able to use the [redacted] lenses & the owner would not come out & talk to me & here we are. I was NEVER told in the beginning what would happen if I couldn't use the glasses. Not everyone can use [redacted] lenses. I am asking for some sort of reimbursement since I did not get the product that I purchased. Thank you.Desired Settlement: I should be due some sort of refund as I did not receive the product that I purchased & was NEVER explained to me by anyone in the company what would happen if I could not use the [redacted] lenses. If they were up front with me....I would have left and not purchased the lenses and glasses. Thank you.

Review: I went to this location under the guidelines of the Vision provider with my Insurance Company. The eye exam portion was friendly and courteous however, when it was time to purchase the frames I felt that the Store Associates were not being upfront about the cost of the glasses. The average cost of a frame in this store is upwards around $400. So, I left the store contacted the insurance company to verify my benefits and checked online for some prices of some frames I liked to know how much in general this would cost me. I returned knowing that my insurance company would allow me up to $120 for frames,20% discount for anything above and beyond that and I had a $50 copay for standard progressives and $90 copay for name brand. Initially, the sales associate never explained this to me she wrote up a ticket and automatically charged me for the name brand progressives stating my insurance company would not cover them. This is not true. So ended up deciding on purchasing Tory Burch [redacted] frame which is priced at $207 on [redacted] website and substantially cheaper on other optical websites. I received a link from the store to provide feedback on the service which I again expressed my dissatisfaction with the pricing. When I returned to this establishment I was greeted by a gentleman that announced he was the owner questioned me as to why I felt the way I did, continued to harass me and come from around the counter in an attempt to intimidate me. Now in the beginning of the discussion he offered to give me my money back if I felt I was overcharged which I no point did he gesture to do this. Needless to say, it is my opinion that he still has overcharged me for the glasses and further harassed me because he solicited my feedback and did not like what I had to say. The service in this establishment is deplorable to say the least.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the refund of all monies paid for the glasses so, that I may have the RX fulfilled by another optometrist. I actually paid 193.00 out of pocket but, In order for insurance company to pay for e new pair of glasses the entire claim needs to be backed out of the system.

Review: Eye styles participates in advertisement with [redacted] and [redacted] Where they advertise various deals for example for $29 dollars you get $200 toward your prescription glasses or sunglasses which is clearly stated on the document, along with the disclaimer at the bottom of the page which makes no exclusion of frames. However when you get there you are told otherwise I was told this voucher only applies if I'm purchasing prescription glasses not sunglasses again not what the voucher says when I pointed this out that it was false advertisement I was told we could honer $150.00 but not the whole thing. So I proceeded to find a more inexpensive frame and was told that the voucher didn't apply to those frames I re read the voucher and didn't find any evidence of that either. I was told to "just get your money back tell them it didn't work out" I even asked why would they participate in something they don't honor and was told "we don't write that that's [redacted] wording not ours" I was shocked and left the store. The other sad thing I noticed is pricing on filling your prescription jumps when submitting one of these vouchers to off set the savings they say things like oh "we have to send out to get that prescription" or that will be a "custom cut" and will end up costing more money this is all conducted by the owner Larry.Desired Settlement: For eye styles of union to either not participate in such promotional vehicles or to honor the promotional voucher it's really a simple solution.
