knowledge and technical skill needed to pursue the craft.  [redacted] struggled with technical skill of the craft. [redacted] has informed me that she had developed a medical condition that will impede her technical ability to perform this as a job. After speaking with council and other professional instructors in this industry I have found that my decision is warranted.[redacted]'s condition did not develop overnight. She has used this condition as an excuse to not continue with training after she was frustrated and struggled with the technique.[redacted] was gracious and understanding in accommodating me when I had medical emergencies and had to reschedule. I appreciate that she was flexible with me. My resolution was to continue the training course, and provide her with alternative grips of tweezers and ergonomic suggestions.I cannot reimburse her considering she was given the full content of the course other than observation of her 2 hands on models.Below you will find my responses to [redacted] via [redacted] messenger. Hopefully it will give you a better understanding of my decision.1. Unfortunately I cannot reimburse the course fees. We have already done the majority of the knowledge portion and I have shared the manual.I feel terrible that you are not able to do this, but I'm just to able to refund your tuition. Did you still want to go ahead and do the models? Maybe we could find you some wrist positioning to suit you. I can ask my colleagues that have similar conditions, if you would like .Talk soon !!2.  Day 1 was intended for you to have the day with me. I don't believe that I cut it short by any means.I have apologized and I am so very sorry for the inconvenience. The cost of the program is for my time with you, and sharing the knowledge and technique for Lashing that I can with you.I'm very sorry, [redacted]. But I am not able to refund the tuition  I hope you can understand this from my perspective.I'm very sorry that you are having these issues with your wrists, I'm sure it's not easy to deal with 3. Hi [redacted].Sorry for the delay. I'm going to work on your request and I'll get back to you soon Regards4. Hi [redacted]. I'm just having a response reviewed by our lawyer, and then I will send it to you 5. Hi [redacted] Thanks for your patience. After review of the situation, here is what I have concluded. On day 1 of training your were given my full attention and the technique and instructions that would allow you to fully be prepared for application, removal, and retouching a clients lashes, etcMy structure of training has always been the same. Theory and then getting a feel for tweezers and lashes. While you were working with the tweezers and lashes you asked if that was it. I said yes and you asked if you could leave.  You made the decision to leave when you did, I would never cut your training time short.  You had my attention for as long as you needed it. So for you to imply that I was only giving you 3.5 hours of my time is unjust and not at the discretion of my decision. The decision was yours to leave before the end of the day.I asked you, because of circumstances, to reschedule which you agreed to. This should not be an issue. I appreciate your accommodation. But I was always willing to complete your Lash Training. As for your physical limitations, I feel terrible that you are having difficulties.  But I don't believe that the symptoms appeared only after a short time of lashing.  I cannot be held responsible for your physical limitations. You have been given the theory and skills necessary to start a lashing career. What you have not completed is the 2 models necessary to receive certification. I am not able to refund any of your tuition. I have given you the theory and advice, and I will continue to offer my assistance with the completion of your 2 models if you so wish. This is my final decision. And I do wish you all the best. I'm sorry we could not have had a better professional outcome for you.Kind regards,Candice M[redacted] if yoibstill require further clarification please contact me via email. To summarize, my resolution to this complaint is to give [redacted] the opportunity to obtain her certificate.  She will be require 2 sets of lashes on models.  If she is as uncomfortable as I would be to do the remainder of the training in person, I will allow her the option of doing the Lash sets on her models and submitting photos of her work to be graded and critiqued. This is a common practice in the industry and would allow her to obtain the certificate she has paid for.Her medical condition should have been considered by her, prior to enrolling in the course. Unfortunately I can not take responsibility for her condition.Thank you...I look forward to your reply.[redacted] [redacted]  I am an independent entrepreneur trying to establish a brand and an excellent rapport with great customer service.
