Good morning.I am replying to a letter of complaint Eynon Buick GMC received regarding a Service Contract purchased by *** ***.First and foremost, your letter states that this was your third attempt to contact the dealershipI assure you that this is, in fact, the first time we received any notification on the matter.As for the complaint itself, it's invalid.*** *** did in fact purchase an AUL Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) through the dealership on April 12, The fact remains, however, that it did not include the Enhance Electrical coverage as that is an optional coverage with an additional surcharge.*** *** did contact me about this issue as she stated in her complaintShe stated her vehicle was in for repairs at a facility out of state and that her claim was being deniedI did not, under any circumstance, "guarantee her" that I would "rectify the situation" nor "get her a refund for the repairs", as I have no authority to do soI simply told her that I would do what I could to help her as they had previously been long term customers of the dealership's service departmentI told her I would contact my representative from AUL and ask for his assistance and that any information she could forward would be appreciated*** *** and I spoke on a number of occasions until I was notified by AUL that her VSC, in fact, DID NOT contain the Enhanced Electrical optionI was told by AUL that this had been explained to *** *** and no further consideration would be given on the matter.Ultimately, the fact remains that there is a contract signed by both the dealership and *** *** in which the Enhanced Electrical Option was not selected, therefore not providing her with said coverage.If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.I appreciate your time and assistance in this matter.Regards,John PK***Business/Finance ManagerEynon Buick GMC***
